The only way Bua will be starting at SS this year is if Jones gets hurt. Bua COULD be a SS for us in the years to come. Bua is a little on the small side to be a starting safety. Speed aside, when it comes to the SS position I think we are more looking for a hitter and run support rather than a speedy ballhawk. Bua can learn a lot from Tebucky Jones this year, but as of right now I think he is the #2 SS and our Larry Izzo for another year.

Thats the Ronnie Lott comparison I was talking about. A solid hitting machine, which is very valuable because a big hitter instills fear on opposing players. A big hit can take a player out(unintentionally of course ) or alter a players streak(say Randy Moss having a good day then BAM!). It also gets our players and fans hyped up and causes a good overall attitude all around on our team. As you can tell, I like big hitters. :evil:
