Charles Harris and Raekwon McMillan or Rueben Foster and Jordan Willis?

Well it seemed a lot on here loved him as their 22nd pick ,yet he falls to the pick 73. That's a substantial drop.

There's obviously something that many teams didn't like round over round by passing on him.

Their conferences matter for sure. Who's the last Kansas State DE that's a stud? Idk honestly that's why I ask. Mizzou is a breeding ground for superior pass rushers. The list goes on...

The guy got picked 73rd. It's not like he fell out of the first.

We both can agree you can never have enough rushers?

Is he a dummy? That could've been a huge reason.

If not, why would someone with his amazing talent fall so far at a position of great importance? I just never thought he was as good as people thought.

Wake lit up the combine and didn't even make an NFL team.

Willis ran faster than Ricky..That shows how much the forty matters.

If you're correct, the bengals got a stud at 73. I don't mind being proven wrong at all.

There's something about him that scared teams away. That's not an opinion its just a fact.

Our FO must've thought differently that's all.

Again...Senior Bowl most valuable player against the best tackles in college football...2 sacks. 2 tackles for loss

I totally understand he did very good at the senior bowl. Isiah Pead won MVP his senior year. You might end up being right which is great for the Bengals.

The question is why he fell so far? Some people on here were saying top 20-15 lol

What do you think is the reason? Trust me, I'm not trying to be a dick by asking that.I just don't know why it took 73 picks to get picked

I think I'm, just going to go against what the Dolphins did weeeeeeee!

I think the fins went the safer route with Harris and McMillian. Lets see how it plays out.

I think it would be more interesting to expand the question out to Harris/McMillan/Tankersley versus the other DE/LB/CB combos in rounds 1-3.

SO for example, would you prefer what we drafted to Tre White/McMillan/Deatrich Wise? Arguably, yes. Even though I'm not convinced Harris will be good enough against the run and Tre White would fit the slot role and give us boundary depth, the truth is Tankersley is probably a better prospect at CB than Wise is at DE.

Bowser/Awuzie/Lawson? Hmmmm. That could turn out to be a high risk, high reward set of three.

Nope. I like our combo rounds 1-3 much better.

Though admittedly, I really like Awuzie a lot. I actually thought they were going to take him. Wouldn't give up The Chef for him though.

Our guys got it right. Finally. I love it. We have a competent coaching staff and a competent front office. This is ****ing beautiful.

Dude Bengals also got Lawson too, tough call. I'll still take what we got because it seems like our staff is doing back flips over them.

He has a "we're gonna play him too early and ruin his career" type of feel to it

Willis is a good player with size and speed, tested well with a surprising 40 time I think 4.53. But:

When you look at the tape, Harris is playing at a different speed than Willis or Derek Barnett for that matter.
Harris' first step is lethal, reminiscent of Aldon Smith. Willis' first step is not even close.
Harris can bend the arc about as well as anyone I've ever seen.
The more I watch the more I think that Harris can play SOLB as well as DE.
Raekwon McMillan is a thumper but is far more athletic than he is given credit for.
Charles Harris, unlike Willis and Barnett, is special with special talents. Takk McKinley is closer to Harris than the other two DE's in that regard, but at the end of the day Harris is a special cat, maybe a very special cat.

I like Willis and I like Barnett, but they play at a different speed than Charles Harris and imo are not special talents. Charles Harris is a special talent, Takk McKinley as well.

Thanks brother!! Always appreciate a fellow fin fan taking time out of our busy lives to show some cool stuff!!

Ya that first step is a thing of beauty. He has lethal moves!! Aldon Smith is a comparison I've heard as well.

Ya dude I'm obsessed with Mcmillan. I love that pick and think he exceeds even his 2nd round status.

Feels like we got potential pro bowlers and extremely vital positions.

I love the Tankersley pick. Fits exactly what we're looking for.

I'll just leave it with I am happy with what we have....

I like Harris, think he can be a double-digit sack guy...

McMillian is the mike we have wanted for years...

1.) How good are doctors for the 49ers organization?

2.) Have the 49ers said that Foster's shoulder will prevent him from playing this season?

3.) Are other teams secretly wishing that his shoulder is damaged so they can breathe a sigh of relief for passing him up?
