Griffin hurt again. This guy is going to have a stunningly short career.

Griffin in college: knee injury, concussion.

Griffin's first season in the pros: knee injury, concussion.

Nah, I don't see a trend here.

He shouldn't have been in the game. They Redskins should have taken him out after the 2nd TD pass when they saw him hobbling to the bench and could barely walk. Yet Mike Shannahan left him in and ran read options with him still? RGIII is a gladiator and doesn't have quit in him, but the coach needs to learn when hes hurting your team and the injury is too serious for him to play. Kirk Cousins should have been in since it was 14-0. It isn't an arm, its a knee. He re-aggravated it in the first quarter, and just injured it again. Playing with an injured arm, finger is completely different than playing with an injured knee. Really have to question Shan on this one.

Well don't worry because if the doctors find that more damage was done to the knee Shanahan will be fired.

And this is why we should have Tannehill a pass first run sparingly QB, though Shannahan is nuts for not pulling him after that first tweak.

That was awesome to start 4-0 versus the number with all four favorites covering. There are only 11 playoff games so how bad can it be? Actually I need a good stretch because the bowl games were not nearly as friendly as the past two years.

Down 14-0 with Seattle and giving 2.5 points, I only had one thing going for me -- sustained ineptitude by Robert Griffin. He deserves a late holiday card. Thank you very much. Didn't even look like the Redskins tried to score for the next 2+ quarters until he wobbled away.

I particularly loved the way he acted after the dropped snap near his goal line. Hysterical. He took a brief glimpse back at the ball, knowing he'd have to get up if Washington recovered. But once it was Seattle's ball his instincts were predictable...feign a devastating injury even though nobody touched him. Yeah, he twisted a little bit but I've seen Robert Griffin in far too many college games when events take a turn for the worse to fall for his act. I could list the games, going all the way back to two losses to Connecticut. Then last year at Oklahoma State. Or the bowl versus Illinois a year earlier. Tonight I knew damn well when he wandered off the field and into the lockerroom that he'd be back on the sideline before the game ended, basically no different than before that fumble.

Laying there pathetic on the turf it reminded me of Mike Tyson scrambling for his mouth piece after being knocked down by Buster Douglass.

Anyway, the sportsbooks got destroyed today, with all four favorites covering. I've already heard horror stories from a few spots. Collection lines around the corner. It will be even worse if Alabama covers tomorrow night against Notre Dame. Imagine all the 4 team parlay cards cashed tonight, and many cards with 4 winners already in, tied to Alabama tomorrow. The sportsbooks hate it when everything trends one way. So-called wise guys are crying tonight while the public is cashing tickets and otherwise carrying on with their normal lives. Sportsbooks had a fantastic September with record profits but beginning in October the bettors have had their way, including some of the worst weekends ever for Nevada sportsbooks.

How the heck did RG3 act? Did you know see his knee bend sideways? Your hate on him is definitely showing, his cleat was stuck on the ground and his knee went sideways. He could have torn his ACL.

i tried to tell people that from the jump this season...but this board is too short sighted...you can't run your qb to contact as much as shanny has this year...good thing he's a 23 year old or so...if he was 30 he'd be dead...

fellas the only thing washington did this year was take 5 years off rg3's shelf life..once those legs go in that o it's a wrap...barring them going with a totally different pro set o which griffen can't play in cause he can't read the field well enough this things history...within 5 years he's done..he's on a faster fall off track than mike vick had...

he better milk the **** out of it now...kills me that shannys this damn stupid

and seattle better be careful also falling into that read option trap...they seem to want to run wilson more than they should...although they at least run some pro sets and traditional stuff...you will lose a qb playing like that...

miami ran too much read option with tanny against buffalo...don't fall into the trap...you want a qb for the long haul...tanny got hit too much in that game going to that well...

you couldn't pay me to take either of those qbs on display tonight over tannehill...

 Im glad someone else noticed this.

Also, Im with the OP. **** Ray Lewis. Im so sick of hearing about him this week. Also, that **** at the end of the game, anyone else does that its showing the other team up. Someone who stabs people to death and preaches about God all the time its just a guy coming back out on the field to dance as his team takes a knee. Not a very classy move by John Harbaugh IMHO to send the knife back out there to do that.

ray lewis has been more hype than substance for 2 years now...he's a figurehead...nothing more...

it ends next week at denver...

To be fair all we know is that
1) Ray Lewis gets into a fight
2) A couple of people got stabbed to death
3) ???????????????????????????
4) Profit!

Supposedly he tried to break the fight up, but if he was involved in the fight itself but didnt stab anyone that at least makes him an accessory to the crime right?
either way the whole thing is murky.
And the fact that everyone all of the sudden forgets about this incident because its his last year is just funny to me.

You have to take the good with the bad, Why cant the analysts just say "Ray Lewis was a great MLB, who may or may not have killed someone."

Well, they can say that he obstructed justice, because he was convicted of that IIRC. But yeah, it's ridiculous.
