Cutler better than Tannehill? No. This article says it all

As far as the deep ball, you know we don't run a vertical offense so there has never been an emphasis either way. Certainly agree with the intermediate throws and their importance. Tannehill is an extremely accurate QB, with a live arm so he can make them all. so it's not like certain throws should be taken off the table. That was done in past years by scheme and playcalling. And along with those two subjects, penalties and sacks from issues upfront have always been the main reason for our offenses poor 3rd down yardage and showings.

Along with throwing short of the sticks.

Along with play calls short of the sticks.

True as well. Lazor's passing philosophy was built of mainly shallow crossers and rub routes with the intention of creating RAC with little to no route depth to extend the field.

It goes back to the "enjoy your practice squad paycheck" drama. The issue with that whole thing wasn't what he said or that he said it, the issue was Grimes felt the need to go back to his wife with something like: you'll never guess what this putz did today...

He's not a natural leader, and when you aren't a natural leader and you try to force it it can have the opposite effect on people.
That's not what he said and you know it. The issue with that situation was a spineless coach (one that you supported to the bitter end) not controlling the team. Practice squad players repeatedly disrupting a walk through should be cut. Period. Guy is on his third team in four years. At least he has his practice squad trophy. 8 career total tackles. WTF.

Really thought we were onto big things with Cameron. He fooled us with that great diving catch in the seam week 1 vs Washington. I feel Thomas will go down a similar path, hope I'm wrong.
