Dolphins expected to not use the franchise tag on Christian Wilkins

We have the luxury of being a tax free state, those who are not are going to have to have a much larger offer than ours.
 
Fowler mentioned the Texans as a landing spot for Wilkins and that makes a lot of sense. As do the Cardinals.
 
They have a number on him. He thinks he's worth more. Let him see what his value is. If a team is willing to give him more than what Miami values him at then it is what it is. Get your comp pick an move on. He's a good player, and a team leader, but to be honest I am not sure teams game plan against him.

Yup. How many teams have the cap, or, can create the cap, are willing to pay top $, and need an elite DT? And what are other DTs asking and willing to take. Not saying he won't get good offers, but there are variables that will limit which ones are interesting to individual teams. Some make it seem as if the market is 31 teams.
