INDIANAPOLIS - Pat White still wants to prove to NFL teams he’s a quarterback.

But if he can’t, White is prepared to do whatever it takes to play at the next level.

The Wildcat formation could be his way in.

“I think it gives me a better opportunity to help someone at the next level,” White said Saturday at the scouting combine.

White said he met with the Dolphins, who discussed a number of things with him, including the Wildcat.

“Hopefully I can help their offense,” White said.

I dont care who dislikes not Drafting White, me personally I hope we Draft this kid. White would add the passing option Ronnie could not add. It would morph the Wildcat Completely. So Im on the Pat White bandwagon, plus he replaces Beck and you can kiss Beck *** goodbye. Remember last year when the Tuna signed Jayson Foster last year and the Tuna was in love with the kid. Well Pat White is a Jayson Foster on ten times better and I think the reason we draft him is cause the Tuna will want him. Plus you can never have enough QB. White wont be listed as a QB though he will most probably be a WR on gamedays.

No, I don't remember Parcells drafting Jayson Foster.

Although I like the idea of drafting him, I think there are more pressing areas of concern. If he is still around in the 7th, I would probably draft him, but I think he'll be gone long before that.

TYPO!

Anyways I love the fact we are paying attention to Pat White.

I think it all depends on what we do in FA. Depending on who we sign in FA then we will have a clear picture figuring out who we draft.

I think FS,SS and C are positions we will address duing FA. They are some of the cheapest positions in the NFL. I see us drafting MLB, OLB, CB, WR, FB, G and WC specialist

I have been reading more on Sean Smith from Utah and am waiting to hear about his combine. Drafting him could place him at either CB or FS. Nice to have that versatility.

You're right F/A will have a lot to do with how we draft. I would like to sign Brown from Baltimore but this is a good draft for Centers so we may get one there a lot cheaper. I think we will know a lot more about our incoming F/A's at 1201 AM, 28 Feb.:chuckle:

I am a HUGE Louisville football fan. I have dreaded playing WVU for 4 years strictly because of this guy. Pat White is all that and a bag of chips. Wildcat Super Hero. This kid can run. Would love to nab this guy in a later round.

White could be a hot commodity, there were a half dozen teams or so that run there own version of the wildcat.

If we draft him, we can probably put him at the 3rd QB spot/WR/KR, something like Seattle does with Seneca Wallace.

Would be all for drafting Pat White, but not before the 4th.

Convince me please. Several mock drafts have us taking Pat White in the 4th or 5th round, I just don't know if that is a good move. I realize the kid has talent, but are we really at the stage where we draft a player to be involved in 10-12 plays a game. I trust the Trifecta, but we have so many glaring holes, and I am afraid it is gonna take our 4th round pick and I just don't see it being a great move.
