It's a worth a flyer tho. If Matt Burke is worth his salt, he'll coach him up to serviceable.
If I remember correctly he was of interest to Miami pre draft, having worked him out. He played at Clemson. He's a big, physical LB. may be better suited for strong side play, instead of inside where he played at Clemson. I read about Joshua Perry from the Chargers. But I don't think he was released? I think he'd be a better fit.
Agreed. Have to make quick decisions when trauma strikes. I'm glad the FO isn't sitting on their hands dumbfounded. Coach needs bodies, you do what you can.

Gase will persevere and Miami will be better for it. He loves the team and organization. He gives me the impression he owns his coaching style.
All this talk of athleticism gives me hope he can actually play some pass coverage?
