#Saints missed badly on Anthony, a 2015 1st rounder.

Maybe a new start, change of scenery in Miami sets Stephone Anthony right. But he was not good in New Orleans.

I figure Adam Gase asked his father-in-law & former @Saints LBs coach Joe Vitt for scouting report before making Stephone Anthony trade.

New Dolphin LB Anthony started 16 games as rookie in 2015, but play declined. Three starts last season. Hasn't played in game this season.

Read an article that i cant find now. Drafted in the 1st round by the Saints (pick #31) in 2015. Had 112 tackles and 1 interception at MLB in year 1. Said he wasn't smart enough to play at the pro level, moved him to the outside and then he fell off the face of the Earth.

If I remember correctly he was of interest to Miami pre draft, having worked him out. He played at Clemson. He's a big, physical LB. may be better suited for strong side play, instead of inside where he played at Clemson. I read about Joshua Perry from the Chargers. But I don't think he was released? I think he'd be a better fit.

Don't have a problem with this move. Dart throw on tools. Should've never been a first round pick but he was a day 2 guy recently. Saints don't know what they're doing on defense.

Agreed. Have to make quick decisions when trauma strikes. I'm glad the FO isn't sitting on their hands dumbfounded. Coach needs bodies, you do what you can.

Well......

Looks like we tried with McMillan and Timmons. Raekwon is a **** happens, but he'll be back. Timmons was a **** you, and probably won't be back. Oh, the asses he'd have to kiss......

Whew, what a season. Two starting LBs out before game 1. And all the rest.

Gase has got to be wondering what he did to deserve all this.....

Gase will persevere and Miami will be better for it. He loves the team and organization. He gives me the impression he owns his coaching style.

Oh god no. Zero instincts

Miami went shopping with the right team and brought home their fodder.

The reason the saints did a complete redo of that lb corp is cause this dude was a pure bust.

He gives us some nickel athlete and he also has played horrid ball

Saints made him a spot base player last year cause he played so bad

Wtf
