E.J. Manuel Benched

hopefully Orton is too much of a drunk to memorize the playbook.

I wont make fun of EJ/ or the Bills since they whooped our ass yet again. Here's hoping the Lions help us out some more and beat the Bills too

I wonder how much QB controversy we'll hear compared to the Fins pseudo-mega--dumpster-fire-controversy that was really a false alarm.
I'm guessing... crickets.

None, because Marrone didn't bungle it. He simply made the switch when he felt he needed to make a switch, and he announced it as such.

Wow....

Not good.

First round pick benched. Bit early I think.

Bills have given Manuel nothing to work with. Sure, Watkins, when he is not triple teamed. All the Bills have is a run game. When they fall behind and Manuel is forced to chuck the ball, he has no one.

Bills have no TE, and no WR's apart from triple coverage Watkins.

Im not going to say the Bills have all-stars, but Mike Williams, Robert Woods, and Scott Chandler are hardly scrubs. Combine that with 2 running backs who can catch the ball out of the backfield(and i also like Bryce Brown, but they havent been using him) and thats a legitimate offense.

Manuel is just that bad. He wasnt a starting caliber quarterback in college, much less the NFL. You could almost tell the Bills immediately regretted taking him. After the draft they kept using terms like "he has all the physical attributes", "big hands", and "a really good kid". Little to nothing about his actual ability(or lack thereof).

This is a sad, sad day for Dolphins fans. I was hoping that comedy of errors would continue to, at least, the end of the season. I was praying it would continue next year as well. Oh well, guess we'll just have to laugh at the fact that the Bills, who are pretty much guaranteed a top 10(and i still think a top 5) position in the draft, dont have a first round pick.

Correct, sir.

****.

Kyle Orton will make that team better.

I'm feeling this too. I don't even think Orton's that good anymore, but he's just the type to get his WR's some passes when he needs to.
Hopefully Reshad Jones and Dion Jordan make the difference when that time comes.

How can you say they've given him nothing to work with? Robert Woods and Sammy Watkins are good receivers. Chandler is a decent TE. He's got Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller in the backfield.

Lol for Kyle "I have a bad hairdo" Orton?

What an awful move. A move I 100% support. Lol

Time will tell. You don't know the composition of the Bills locker room. The Bills invested a 1st rd pick in Manuel. How will this affect his psyche?
I dont agree that Philbin bungled anything. He treated RT in the same consistent way he treats every player and if anything, it sent a message to RT that expectations for him are high and much is expected of him.
Philbin gave RT the opportunity to redeem himself.
Are you suggesting that Philbin should have just benched RT after 2 successive losses the way Marrone did?
