Kyle just got the news

Orton does not have Manuels ability to escape the pocket when pressured. This needed to be accounted for. Our defense plays a lot better against Qb's that aren't mobile or shifty. We don't play them till November so who knows who will be the Qb then.

See? They realize that the QB position is not an entitlement. If the guy is under performing, you just don't stand by and let him drag the whole team down with him like the Jets are doing with Geno Smith and the Dolphins with Ryan Tannehill.

Jumping the gun for sure. Manuel has struggled at times but he really was not bad enough to bench. Interesting to see how this turns out.

With the new owners and stadium plans, Marrone is on even a hotter seat than Philbin's and Rex's.

Doesn't it make you wish we could do the same for FH posters?:chuckle:

The Bills and Dolphins are two completely differrent situations. Certainly you see that.

I am not so sure it's very different. Buffalo did it because they feel they have a good enough team to win now. And as Doug Marrone said, they need to get better production out of the QB position. I like most Dolphin fans feel the Miami Dolphins are a little bit more talented than Buffalo and should be winning now. We can also agree that up until last weeks Raider game, our QB has NOT played well at all.

If the Lions had a kicker that didn't blow elephant dongs that was a loss for the Bills...three misses by Alex Henery, in a dome at that

Congratulations, a journeyman is better than your draft bust.

He is also better than our draft bust.

Our journeyman backup is as well.

If our HC had good sense like Buffalo's HC, we would make the same switch and win games.

How about Mike Smith? Did 2-3 Melty get confused and think it's "win or the season is over" going into the second half ahead 13-10, in the 3rd 20-10, but characteristically outscored in the 2nd half 20-7?

And that's with Roddy and Julio. Loks like his second half stats were 1 TD, Int, 54% completions and about a 71QBR. Sound familiar? Since the start of '13, Melty is now 6-15, has a less than 50% winning record on the road and hasn't won in an open air stadium since '12. Hey didn't TJ Yates actually win a playoff game? Maybe it's time to make the change?
