If it's a possibility, why not discuss it? Granted, it's one of the WORST possibilites, but a possibility nonetheless. Yeesh.
yes I agree
Sorry no can do. end of the world as we know it, might as well go down drinking.
Would you accept a Tebow trade?
Whether you like it or not, Tebow mania will be starting up again. And frankly, it sucks. Here is a simple yes no question. Would you accept Tim Tebow in a Trade? If yes, what would you trade for him.
Me, personally, **** no, others, especially those in FLA may disagree.
I'd rather stick pins in my eyes.........
The answer is too obvious and Moore is way better a QB.
Uh, no. A circus should be in town for only 3 days, tops.
That didn't take long....answer his HELL NO
unless its for a 5th round or higher.
But the way the Fins make deals. the will give up 2 FIRST rounders for him.
I would do a trade if it was no more than a 6th rounder. Tebow would be a fine back-up and a guy we could potentially throw in there from time to time to switch things up. If it's for more than a 6th, you HAVE to pass.
Anyone who votes yes is either a troll, or Ireland and/or Ross in disguise.
For a 5th rounder, absolutely. We'll be the most entertaining 2-14 team in the league, hopefully. Maybe we'll get it right and score the #1 pick next year.
I'd rather sandpaper a bobcat's butt in a phone booth.
NO, a thousand times NO.
The worst part of getting Tebow, besides the obvious, is that this place will be polluted with thousands of the worst kind of fans. The player fans. They wont be dolphin fans, they will simply be Tebow fans. You think the pom pom wavers are bad now. Wait if in fact we get Tebow. It will be disgusting with the amount of Tebow apologists and the Tebow cant do no wrong fans that will infiltrate this place
Yes,What's the worst that can happen..We win,we win..We loose,trade everything for Barkley next year.Just give Denver a 7th rounder.
Hell no x 1,000,000!
Please, GOD, No.
They get Tebow, I stop being a Dolphins fan until he's gone, period. And if there is a valid source that says they are thinking of going after him it will then be crystal clear to me who in fact is pulling the strings, Ross. At that point I'll pitch in for that Fire our Owner billboard.
There's no way Philbin or Ireland would want a POS like Tebow as their QB. If Ross pushes for Tebow, and they don't agree with Ross, at that point both men if they have any standards, should quit.
6 ppl said yes?
Do we have a black list on this site? Can we start one?
Geeze, I know Moore isn't ideal but how many more insults can the guy handle? Now a QB who can't throw to replace him?
yes but nothing more than a 4th Tebow can ball period
I would still want Moore to be the starter tho
I mentioned this in another thread.
Ross is all in for Tebow he can then put butts in the seats since thats all he cares about Maybe hoping to get Tebow was the plan all along
Stop the insanity!
Personally, I don't think we trade for Tebow.
I think Jacksonville does and I think there is a chance they trade Blaine Gabbert to make it happen.
Will Ross force the Dolphins to trade for Tebow?
Now that Ross is left with nothing but egg on his face after this farcical attempt to "upgrade" the QB position and bring some excitement to the franchise, will Ross force Tim Tebow on the front office?
Ross recognizes that Tebow brings cameras to the team, and that seems to be his primary concern (more than winning). Tebow would give the Dolphins some media exposure and he would be able to pack the house with Gator fans.
I could definitely see Ross pulling this desperation move.
Ross would love it. The stands would be packed. And everybody would be talking about Tebow and the Dolphins. I doubt they would have to trade for him, Denver probably just cut him.
Would I accept a trade for Tebow? As a lifetime Dolphins fan, would I have a choice to not accept it?
Chad Henne has more trade value than Blaine Gabbert. Gabbert ****ing blows, why would Denver want him?
I know it's crazy, but I'd rather sell all a boatload picks for the number 1 pick than trade for Tebow. If nothing else will seal Ireland's fate, a trade for one of the worst passers in the game will. I hope he's smarter than that, but who knows.
CRAP NO.........make the pain stop.........NO Tebow CRAP period :-(
How can anyone watch a game with Tebow as QB and think he's even a so so QB? The dude bounces more balls off the ground than he completes passes. I've even heard during practices more balls fall to the ground than he completes.
I don't understand.
Nah Chad Henne doesn't have more value than Gabbert, Gabbert was #10 overall last year.
The Broncos liked him last year, worked him out on several occasions and what better guy to sit behind than Peyton Manning? I really think that is a trade we are going to see.
Why trade for a guy who will ask for his release/freedom?
I would rather stick with Matt Moore, at least he can throw a football
good luck running a timing and accuracy offense under philbin with a damn qb who completes passes at a 47 percent clip...good luck
i'm not accepting anything anymore with these morons...they're all garbage
If Tebow were smart he would request for his release outright and tell any team that he wants to go to KC or Oakland so that he can compete against the Broncos twice a year.
Can another off season help Tim
Tebow develop into any sort of a decent pocket passer? Can our offense be catered to make him a successful asset to this team?
I hope so. Because I voted yes. Tim Tebow would be something that would inject new life into this organization instantly. He is goin to make this team an attractive desination. And the morale he brings is second to none. Dammit I just wish he was a more polished quarterback.
I definitely expect this deal to get done. I just hope it's not a bust.
It seems like everything we fans want the front office does the exact opposite. Would not be surprised if they traded for Tebow. I'v seen some sad days as a Dolphins fan. That day would truly be the saddest.
You mean there will actually be fans at the stadium?
Ultimately I think drafting Brandon Weeden is our best option right now
i think we will trade for tebow. the only problem with that is i think that philbin will have no say in the matter and his plans for his offense will have to change.
if philbin wants tebow here, so do i. at least we know we wont blow it in the 4th quarter like we always do since thats tebow time
Even Ross is not this short sighted. Philbin will not run a college offense. Tebow was a one-year wonder on a bad team. Elway and the Broncos will be ever more cap-strapped as Manning decides he needs new weapons during his 3-year run. The dead cap money at the end of this deal will boggle the mind.
So wait... having the WORST starting QB (besides Gabbert) is going to make more Free Agents want to come here? Please explain
i don't see jax going the tebow route with gabbert and now henne already there...if henne wasn't there i could see it more...i can absolutely see ross in an effort to put more butts in the seats telling ireland to go get tebow...and with an extra 3rd rounder i think thats exactly what they'd offer...
that said if jax did trade gabbert and we traded anything for him i would be done with this team...thats how dreadful that bum is...he's on a david garrard level signing for me
