here's a contorversial topic.....

No!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like Tebow, I think he got a raw deal in NY. I think he got a bit of a raw deal in Denver. I still wouldn't welcome here with us - at any position. I hope he catches on somehwere and is not out of the league. P.S. The Tim Tebow Tom Brady mock video in Youtube is funny and worth a look.

And how much do you think the Dolphins would end up paying-- or better yet, how much do you think Tebow is going to want to be paid-- for this latest exercise in trying to find Tebow a job in the NFL? Because he's not going to come cheap.

actually i think he is just about done. at this point he needs to be willing to play someplace virtually for free, just in the slightest hope to catch on somewhere. otherwise it's bye bye timmeh (as far as his NFL career is concerned). might have a (dim) future in the CFL though...

I don't care either way, I don't have a hand in this fight... just curious......would you welcome the signing of Tim Tebow as a POSITIONAL PLAYER, not a QB... I'm talking about a jersey # in the 20's- 40's and as a FB or H back... We suck in short yardage goal line situations and Tebow is one of the best at converting.. say what you want about the jets using him as a personal protector but their punt coverage was the best in rex ryans years there.... everyone knows he would put seats in Sun Life. And I don't think he would be any threat to Tannehill at all as he would only be an EMERGENCY QB.. Only if Tanny and backup (devlin?) were to go down like against Tennessee 2010 when Thigpen entered the game.

No, he offers nothing of value to our team.

PS I like Tim Tebow, and I think there are teams out there he can help...but not the Dolphins - we have a ton of holes, but some kind of utility QB/H back option guy isn't one of them

will Tebow accept being a h-back?

Or will he still continue to think he is a quarterback and bring his followers to trounce all media about how he should be starting?

He has made no indication yet he is open to being a full time te or fb.

Only reason I would NOT want Tebow is because of the obvious and inevitable circus that follows him. Before that, I think he would have been a great addition. He's a good man, a good teammate, a good leader, and dare I say a good player! ... The guy wins!

I agree, but he wants to be quarterback and he would probably hinder the development of Devlin, and possibly of Tannehill.

omg omg.i am one o the biggest Gators fan and he won 2 national championships one as a starter and one as the back up.he was a darn good player in the NCAA but sometimes that does not carry over into the NFL.when Denver took him in the 1st round i was floored.he should have gone in the 5th or even 6th.he is a great person to have around your team but as one of your starting players no no no . he wont make our 53 man roster even last year as a WR.
love the kid just is not good enough to be a starting QB or starting anything in this league

Yes hes not a NFL player, He doesn't cheat on his wife, or girlfriend, He don't carry a gun, he doesn't fight in Bars , he doesn't have a Drug problem, He doesn't have steroid problem. He doesn't beat the hell out of his wife or girlfriend. He's not in trouble for Rape, oh yes one more thing, he doesn't stand around and watch dogs kill each other, YES I GUESS HES NOT A NFL PLAYER

Me and half this forum fit those criteria. Why dont I get an NFL contract?
