    Jeff Ireland is the worst...

He has all but managed to destroy all the prestige this ball club has ever accumulated over its storied career.

Harbaugh and Fisher refused to coach with him having over arching decision making power over player personnel. Who could blame them.

Also he has managed to make Miami the least viable option for Manning after it was looking so good for us.

Manning said that "HE WOULD NOT THROW" and when Manning was in Miami he was scheduled to meet at the Phins facility, but had received word that Ireland, "Wanted to see his arm in action." So he flew to Denver and Ross had to send the whole staff up to Indy and told Ireland to stay behind.

This man is single-handedly destroying our beloved franchise!!!!!!!!

How can we get rid of him, we need answers!!!!!

Is this information accurate about Ireland wanting to see PM to throw?

I actually don't blame the man one bit, I want to see Manning throw too. **** Manning if he doesn't want to throw, you need a honest assessment and Denver and Arizona are foolish if they don't make him throw and offer him a huge contract.

If he can not perform it affects everything you need to do in the offseason. If the team is 2-6 when Manning is ready to return to the field, **** it at that point, complete waste of time and money. I don't blame Ireland for being methodical on this choice and frankly I wasn't enamored with Manning's willingness to show his progress or lack there of.

There is only one reason Manning isn't throwing right now and that is the fact that he isn't throwing like Manning.

If true about Fisher, why was it then that Fisher said he'd love to work with Ireland?

The closest I can get to confirming anything is this.
    From the Denver Post.

He did not. He threw to Brandon Stokley with no Bronco's officials present.

    When did Fisher say that??

And yes Manning threw to Brandon Stokely "Unofficially" because Manning stayed at Brandon's house while he was in Colorado

A few questions. First, how and why were things looking so good for MIA in getting Manning?
Second, did the talent in MIA have anything to do with the rumors of Manning to MIA?

And if the talent in MIA was the main reason Manning was favoring MIA. Then who helped bring in that talent?

As for Fisher and Harbaugh, they got the power they wanted, good for them. Harbaugh is winning with talent he nothing to do with in building. And FIsher and his mediocre career, wasn't worth the power dump.

So your not happy with the current FO including HC Philbin. LOL, life sucks for you.:lol2:

Harbaugh didn't refuse to work with Ireland. He didn't want to leave the west coast. Fisher actually said good things about Ireland but Fisher wanted final say and thats the GM's job. So, technically Ireland was the reason Fisher didn't come to Miami but not for the reason you gave. Fisher basically wanted Irelands power and i'm glad Ross wouldn't give it to him.

As for the rest of your post, where are you getting this info about Manning? You're even quoting people

I don't think it is completey Ireland's doing. Ever since Wayne H. sold the team, we have had trouble landing the "Big Fish." Wayne H. always got his man. Ross and Ireland always seem end up with their 2nd or 3rd option. Not sure of the reason, or who's at fault but it seems to be a trend.

I posted this response to a similar HennyPenny type thread last night, as I have similarly replied with various versions previously. Afterwards, it occurred to me that mustering up the energy to individually debunk convenient agenda-driven, Pavlovian-reactionary BS is not worth the effort; consequently I converted last night's reply into what no doubt will become a very familiar graphic response around these here parts.

    LMAO.

fans are so ridiculous on this board, and im starting to think for the Miami Dolphins as well, but i guess when you get an influx of young people who havnt' witnessed our rich tradition, even the fanbase starts to take on some characteristics of a low end franchise.

    1) Not every free agent wants to come here, and it isn't always b/c we are THE FIRST CHOICE until ireland and ross "screw it up" we simply are not everyones first choice period.
    2) just b/c you PERCEIVE someone to be our messiah and savior just b/c of their name ala Fisher, Manning etc. does not mean that they are the best fit or vice versa. obviously manning is a GREAT HOF quarterback, however there is no guarantee that he wins a Superbowl for us, and there isnt even a guarantee that he plays more than 2 years for anyone. if ireland wanted to be a hard ***, maybe he had his reasons, maybe he wanted to be convinced he could throw on a dime, maybe he doesn't really want manning - who knows?

every time we "miss out" on some fans "wish list" ireland and ross are horrible and we are a "joke" this is not madden folks. calm down. you have no idea what the FO's plan is. IMO philbin was the best pick for HC and i trust him and ireland to get us the right qb, even if it turns out that that qb is matt moore for one more year.
