Hope he will be higher than 69 in 2018!
The J-Train is a beast. Hopefully Asiata can blow open some holes for him and get him a running lane more consistently. If we can become a consistently solid running team ... this offense can really take off.
So happy for him that he made the list (and so high).
Absolutely deserved. No player sparked our improbable run to the playoffs more than that man. What a difference a year makes.
And Cam is #62
Potential 2017 top 100 Fins...
Thomas (If he reverts back to form)...
That's a lot of good players....
Plus I have no doubt that Tanehill, Howard, Stills, Kiko, and McMillan will have good years as well...just won't make the top 100...
...guys, we finally have a talented roster AND a good coach...wow...
Suh and Jarvis are probablt in the top 100..Just higher up.
I have a hard time imagining Parker, Thomas and Landry having Top 100 seasons and Tannehill failing to as well. If you have three receivers putting up those type of seasons than the qb would have to have an outstanding year too.
Does anybody really care about this stupid top 100? I personally could care 1 sheeet..
I have asked the NFL Network to replay the combine.....instead of this crap... That way, we could watch the guys that the fins picked
Top 69 with those 200 yard games should be top 50
I'm sure there are those saying half of Ajayi's yards came in 3 games and you need to have a more steady production to warrant top 50.
Not bad. Suh and Landry should make the list as well.
I could definitely see Tunsil making it next year and maybe Tannehill.
Thanks for posting! It's starting to get exciting I think
Hickey wanted a rb in the second round that year. So, in a weird way, Tannenballs pounding the table for Phillips that year opened the door for Ajayi.
There's a day coming when these NFL doctors are going to be held accountable via lawsuits from players. Jay was highly touted as the most complete back coming out of college. He had a high second round grade until the infamous "bone on bone" diagnosis came out.
If he lasts five years at his current clip, he should be able to sue that doctor for slander, malpractice, whatever and recoup what he lost.
Ya really hope he keeps it up and our line gets better. Didn't he have one of the worst yards before contact last year cause he was constantly hit around Los and just powered through.
He only has to keep it up for two more. After that he will get paid.
Wasn't Juice something stupid like #98 last year? I wonder how far up he climbed.
I don't know about that, I do know he had one of the best YAC (contact) though, if not the best.
He's putting on a youth football camp here at Boise the beginning of June. Can I borrow someones kid for a day? hehe
Consider that could be mistaken for his age, quite impressive!
Congrats to Ajayi...obviously some of those hits made an impression on fellow players
Miami Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake enjoyed a resurgence in 2016. Can he keep it up? AL DIAZ firstname.lastname@example.org
Prediciton: Jay Ajayi will lead the league in rushing yards this year. If we can get 13 games from Pouncey, this would be a no-brainer.
One thing ill never do is bet against cam wake
I am happy as a Dolphins fan and proud of Ajayi.
As a football fan I think the NFL's top 100 as voted on by the players a brutally inaccurate.
Absolutely. In Cam we trust
Ajayi gets some luv as well.
IMHO, both players absolutely deserve their rankings. Wake defies a lot of odds, but father time is undefeated. I do think Wake can be excellent this year ... but eventually the ride must end ... just hoping it's not this year or next.
Ajayi is the stud power back with some elusiveness and speed that we've wanted for so long. If his receiving skills have improved as Christinasen says ... that's awesome. I was very impressed with his improvement in pass protection last year, and IMHO, that was his area of biggest need for improvement going into last season.
You can watch the videos here. Jay Ajayi is #69 and Wake is #62. Top 60 yet to be released.
Good for Ajayi and the whole team. Keep climbing bud.
The end of the Cameron Wake video is absolutely hilarious!
Surprising considering you usually have to wait a year before you break into this list...
I saw the "Reaction" show after the official Top 100 show and the ENTIRE segment where they were talking about Ajayi making the list was spent talking about how the Bears running back was snubbed. Compared their stats and everything. And they may have a point because he's amazing too but to spend the entire segment not saying a word about Ajayi, during a segment about HIM, was ridiculous.
Wake gets held more than any other player I've seen.
Ajayi is mad for greatness.
Finally someone else is noticing this. I lose it everytime I see it. If i hear one more time how great Nate Solder is, I think I will puke. That bum holds Wake on nearly every play and they never call it. In fact, he gets held by most who try to defend him and they rarely call a penalty. You have to literally tackle Cam before the refs will make the call.
I've never seen anything like it. He gets pulled down what seems like every other play.
Wake would have easily 10-15 more sacks if he wasn't held as much as anyone.
You're totally spot on. I think the refs think he slipped or something.
If not, I don't know how they continuously miss the huge game changing calls.
Gets extremely annoying after the first 5 of the game. They usually get 1 of the 20 times right lol
Cam's one of the coolest Dolphins you can meet. He's quiet like most would expect.
I've rarely seen a guy who's traps are bursting out of his shirt like Cam Wake's. Total monster!!!
In his first year, you could tell we had something special with this guy.
Fair to say he's reached greatness extremely quickly and should be considered for the HOF.
Let him get 20 more sacks and he's at 100 very quickly. That should warrant some HOF talk
