John Clayton: Don't rule out Dolphins as a destination for Revis

Read the fine print next time you post, it is $70 mill for all 5 years, $39 guaranteed.

Unless the Jets find a QB what does it matter that they signed Revis?

We went to two title games with Mark Sanchez as our QB. Signing Revis matters a lot.

Of course the QB spot is the most important position, but if you dont have one, you better be strong everywhere else. This fills a huge need.

Yeah but still need a lot of work on offense....and Revis is a couple years older. He wasn't exactly shutting guys down in New England. I guess we shall see what else happens.

He's still a top tier player at his position.

The Jets need a QB and another lineman IMO. But they are strong at the skill positions on O for the first time in years. The Jets always go into the season with sub par talent on offense and wonder why they suck on that side of the ball. This season will be different in those regards, minus the QB spot still.

I'd even look into bringing back Cro as well. Bowles system is very similar to Rex's, you need corners who can cover guys 1 on 1

As bad as our D played in week 17, maybe Geno found something. Say what you will, he made some quality throws in that game. If Smith plays even 80% as good as Tannehill, NY will OWN us, as their roster has much more talent than ours.
Run the ball + stop the run and you will win. Miami was brutal at both when it counted. We had some games where we ran the ball...until the other team either shut the door late, or just bludgeoned our QB.

NY needs more at wr,...oh yeah, they just got that too. It will be funny, though, when Brandon Marshall trolls Geno into a nervous breakdown on the sidelines.

this might have been the most useless thread of all time
