Lets draft a real playmaker - Xavier Su'a-Filo

I like Sua filo. Not only is he a stud Guard but He can also play RT if needed. His arms are longer then Martins. I saw him interviewed and he said he could also play tackle position.

OLmen are not "playmakers". QB, RB, WR, DB, pass rushers make plays, not OLmen.

yes obviously, it was sarcastic comment because of the ball watcher craze we get on here from time to time. Without the linemen people can have all the snazzy receivers they want and we still wont get anywhere

All the spice in the world doesn't matter if you don't have the steak to put it on. This isn't Madden where you can stack a team with "impact players" and "playmakers" all the while ignoring the OL. Talented athletes on the OL, like Pouncy, give coaches more options as to how to get the football to the right players in the right place.

Seahawks OL was unremarkable ... worked for them. OL does not score TD's, sack QB's, etc. If youre stuck in the 1980's of 3 yds and a cloud of dust sure, but pass protection can be accomplished with adequate OLmen, scheme, QB, timing, and competent play calling, not to mention, a stout D and special teams play. The only premium OL position is LT.

I'll add a good guard or center also. A team may be able to withstand a Greg Hardy/Jared Allen with an adequate LT, but the QB will have pressure in his face and the run game will not work if the opposing team also has a Ndamukong Suh/Kyle Williams/Marcell Dareus at DT.

But they also had a phenomenal D that the O benefited from. Look at the whole picture. Also, pulling guards and centers are incredibly important in screen passing. We didn't do much of that last year because only pouncy could pull.
