Merged: WHAT A BOOB: "Former Cowboys receiver Irvin arrested!"

Michael aint no snitch. hes a bigger man than that.

Check the arresting officers statement....he said the pipe was his brothers, Mike has now changed his story....

Honor among thieves....LMAO

Maybe someday you'll mature enough to realize the old addage is true....If you lay down with dogs, youre gonna get fleas. If you associate with destructive behavior, you guessed it, it's gonna destroy you.

I dont really expect you to understand that one just right now Nappy, but file it away, and maybe one day you'll understand.

Some reading for the element here that thinks Mike is a stand up guy and wont snitch on whoever "left" their pipe in his car. <snicker>

But Friday, Irvin was in a Plano cop shop explaining what a pipe and baggies were doing in his car.

Police stated they believed the baggies contained marijuana residue. Irvin told them at the time the baggies belonged to his brother.

"He left it in there," police quoted Irvin.

That would seem to contradict Irvin's story Sunday and Monday that a friend, whom he's refused to incriminate by identification, was responsible. What a friend Irvin is, indeed.

It may seem as if there is some good news for Irvin from his latest run-in with the law. He is facing just a misdemeanor rather than a felony. The most he can be penalized is a $500 fine.

But the residual damage from this may be greater than all before. Consider that his last arrest, even though the charges wound up dropped, cost him a job he hadn't even started with Fox Sports Net, the regional Fox network.

So Friday's arrest, no matter his explanation, could cost him his high-profile part-time gig on ESPN's NFL Countdown shows.

If it was his brothers pipe IMO he was only protecting the interest of his family since his reputation is in jeopardy anyway... But it does sounds a little far fetched. Maybe Irvin needs more help and treatments. "Once you are a drug addict, you are always an addict. It's a day by day type of thing...

I dont know whos pipe it was and honestly dont care. What i do care about is someone putting their livelihood and their families care in jeopardy either getting high or covering up for someone else doing it around them. Im po'ed that someone with so much would even be around someone using. I dont really like stupid people at all anyway, and this type of behavior just vaults you right to the top of the dumba$$ list.

Its not sad, its not tragic...its freaking stupid.
