Sorry if anyone already said this, but I'm not reading 7 pages of comments to do so myself. How about the Utes of the University of Utah? They become the first mid-major to get into and win a BCS bowl, completing an undefeated season. Their starting QB goes 1st overall in the NFL draft. Their basketball program gets a 4 seed in the NCAA tourney and makes it to the Sweet 16, I think. Their best player, the starting C, goes 1st overall in the NBA draft. That's impressive for any school, but a program in the Mountain West Conference? Wow.
