People are upset about his 40 yard punt in the first half, but I doubt 5 extra yards on a punt (his average is 45 yards , would have kept MIami from losing this game.

Though it is a small sampling, Daar and Haacks, '16 and '17 numbers are not far apart. Haack's net is abysmal right now.

Get rid of a decent punter for an unproven rookie. Don't replace players like Bobby McCain, Byron Maxwell, and Jermon Bushrod. The Dolphins front office just isn't very good.

Despite all his years until TBum circumvented the Rooney Rule by making him his puppet, Chris Grier was never more than a good soldier who had Peter Principle'd out and never really considered as GM material in the collective wisdom of the league. Tannenbum? to paraphrase George Santayana: He who ignores history is doomed to repeat it. And history including the hole he left NYJ in based on his questionable decision-making should have been hard to ignore.

There's no question Darr is a better punter than Haack. Haack's punts get no hang time and many are too short.

Haack is averaging 45.5 yards per kick this season and Darr averaged 44 last season. Sure he had a 40 yard punt in the second quarter that led to a score but this feels like people are upset about the poor start by the team and want a few human sacrifices and Haack is being thrown in the pile of candidates.
