I think its the angle and the fact that the sun is only half there. My suggesttion would be to ether restore the ful circle or lose it completely, and to reangle the "fin" into an more agressive angle.

I like the logo currently, but I would also like to tweak it a bit to look more aggressive, essentially what the lions did with their logo change.
This is just constructive criticism dont take it the bad way, thanks for the try bro. but yea its needs more, we need to see the actual animal otherwise ppl wont understand what they are looking at. u can make an argument for it being a tongue lol or a shark fin or a dolphin fin, its not really defined. Keep at it tho u got talents.
and while we're at it, dolphins aren't scary at all. maybe we should change the name to miami humpback whales, at least they're ugly as hell so we may scare someone. and change the colors to humpback whale grey, because our current ones are obviously so 60s.
