im sorry mods but these _ _ _ holes need their _ _ _es handed to them. how the **** can you say something like that over a football game. thats just uncalled for! ive been to NY city a couple of times and NYERS are the rudest people ive ever met! SHAME ON YOU _ _ _holes! :soapbox:  :bombyou: :buttkick: :whack: :chair:  :tsk: :club:
Im not rude so kiss my arse

Mod Edit: hate them all you want, but don't cuss about them in clever ways that violate the profanity filter. WB3

For all your info, they were mostly fans that never get tickets. And a ton were young kids and college students out for a fun night. It was not your normal Football day crowd.

Well I went to the Jets/Dolphins game and it was the same stuff. I had to be sitting in the worst section(338). There were more bottles thrown then footballs that day. There were quite a few fights too and EVERY single time a dolphins fan was escorted out. Not a single jets fan was forced to leave. And to top it off I saw an eight year old boy crying his eyes out as he and his father are leaving(during the game). The father was muttering something about "a bunch of morons" ... to me that was pathetic. Fine throw a bottle at me, I am a grown man, but an eight year old boy with a dolphin jersey on... come on..

That is absolutely disgusting.

What I don't understand is that if you can afford the $80 or whatever it is to afford a ticket to a ballgame, you'd think you have enough disposable income and education to clear at least the 80-90 mark on an IQ test. This clearly demonstates ignorance well below that. Even factoring in 10+ beers, it still doesn't add up for me. How do this mouth-breathers afford to go to a game??? Someone explain. :shakeno:

scalpers, they will take a half rock of crack for a ticket!

if that would have been me, I'd have fired right back about how NYC can't build tough buildings. I mean one little jet, and down she goes!

They would have left crying!

Enough with the NY fan bashing. There are idiot fans all over.

Yes you are right there are idiots all over, but I will tell you what New Yorkers are by far THE WORST.

I've been to New York several times and it is an awesome spectical of a city, but the people are the rudest bunch of self serving peices of crap I have ever seen.

Now with that being said, I'm sure everyone in NY is not a prick, but I will tell you that 90% of the people I came across had the attitude that if it will benefit them they will do it regardless of how it will affect anyone. This artilcle just says that it wasn't just me, a lot of people have that experience with New Yorkers.

I have an aunt with her family and a grandmother that live on Long Ilsand and they are, while not the rudest people in the world, they are a little hard to get along with. Love'em to death, but they are typical New Yorkers.:)

You guys are crazy if you think this is isolated to New York, your stereotyping is equally unintelligent... fact of the matter is, there are people like this everywhere. It's not right, it's ashame it happened, but don't act like this is a New York thing. I've been to countless stadiums around the US for numerous sporting events, it's the same everywhere and there will always be some appalling people out there.

thats mean but you have to fight fire with fire as the saying goes.

Guys... any city the size of NY is giong to have idiots. There is no need to insult the entire population of NYC. I go there VERY often, I assure you...they are not all bad. Some very good friends of mine are lifelong NYC denizens... my GF is from Brooklyn.
Honestly... how would any of you like it if I took a couple bad examples from your town/city/village ... and passed that judgement on you?

That makes you just as bad as them.......but I see your point. I guess you gotta fight back and try and shut them up.
:rofl3: Shutting up a New Yorker, now that's funny. :rofl3:

Maybe you meant "Giant Fans"

BZ

Giants, Jets and Eagles fans repeatedly are classified as some of the most passionate fans in the sportsworld, deservedly so. But to point to one person's comments. yes, there are classless fans everywhere, but you cannot deny that people in NY and New jersey have an abrassive edge to them not seen in most of the US. That's not to say they're aren't a lot of nice people in that area, but on average, they are more obnoxious, selfish and rude than other parts of the country. I lived in northern Jersey for 12 years, Gulf Coast (MS) for 6 years, Oregon & Washington for 6 years, Indiana for 5 years and Ohio for 5 Years. And the people of Jersey/NY were at least 2-3 times more obnoxious at sporting venues that I went too.

So Jets fans suck just as much as Giants fans. And I am a Giants fan (2nd to the fish).
