Interesting… LaDainian Tomlinson said on @nflnetwork that LeSean McCoy told him a few weeks ago he didn’t think he’d be back in Philly.

he was also the change of pace...mccoys gonna be the guy...unless they are gonna just go power downhill and work off pa which is a poor fit for mccoys game...i dont think they have much choice this year at qb though...manuel seems like it

Think about it hoops...they signed Richie Incognito...does that sound like power scheme fit or pistol/zone read?

lets also not act like alonzos luke kuechly level instincts at lb...he's not...good player though no argument there

i think miami should look into herremans as a tackle/guard depth option...fits the scheme...not a good starting option but has versatility

For about 8 games before he gets hurt and is out for the season.

That's fine, Chip don't care, he will have a backup with Sproles and a rookie.

Thats how ChIp do, he's going for it all this off season, chip is not a patient guy, he wants his qb on a rookie deal, and will spend like crazy while he can, while fitting in players on the cheap that fit his scheme.

Chip making his big move in year 3.

that's true but i also think he's more camp body than anything else...we will see though

Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reports that Adrian Peterson would consider restructuring his contract to facilitate a trade out of Minnesota if this ends up being a necessary move.

According to Robinson, Peterson continues to have an open dialogue with the Vikings about his future and has already considered potential trade destinations.

A separate source tells Robinson that Peterson has entertained the idea of returning to the Vikings next year, even though he’s thought through a possible trade.

Peterson’s father, Nelson, said his son hasn’t requested a trade and added that the focus is “business decisions” based.

“All the options are open,” Nelson Peterson said. “There’s no doors closed on anything at this time. … Adrian will come back from this with a vengeance. He plays hard anyway, but he’s got an extra chip on his shoulder. He will bounce back from this.”

Should Minnesota make him available for trade, Robinson mentions Peterson prefers to be traded to five teams: the Cardinals, Colts, Cowboys, Chargers and Buccaneers.

Robinson adds that even if Peterson were to request a trade, the Vikings could refuse and simply pay him the $12.75 million salary he has coming his way next season.

I'm listening to him now on NFL Network. Said Chip Kelly doesn't like players with a strong personality...got rid of DeSean Jackson last year and now LeSean McCoy....hmm...maybe it's just guys with Sean in their first name lol. I'm sure Philly fans are bashing Chip Kelly like Dolphin fans bash Philbin for the same thing.

how do you think chips gonna get in position to get mariota??? that's quite the trade up to get there

158 tackles his rookie yr, and 4 picks, maybe not Luke, but he was pretty Close as a rook. Also, pretty amazing in coverage.

what he should be doing is going all in on a qb...if he had that with that scheme and that pace that team would be lethal...but he doesnt which is good for the rest of the league...a top 10 qb in that offense eeeegads

those are good numbers no argument there and yeah he's good in coverage so he's 3 down lb...philly will pair him with erik kendricks brother (the damn guy miami should be targetting at 14 if we pick there hint hint) michael and have quite the 3 down lb pairing

If they sign Revis they could make a play to get Mariota...would fit Kelly's offense. They can get a RB later in the draft.

He will pay whatever he has to, yeah he's going to pay a lot.

But I think it's clear, The only position he truly knows he cant replace is qb, Mariota is as close to what he wants as he will probably ever Have a chance to get. Completely worth it to him.

As you said earlier, Chip trusts his system, lesean, Maclin, McCoy, replaceable.
