The ONE problem England have is Sven.

If Benitez or Mourinho had Gerrard or Lampard there is no way they would be allowed to put in such indisciplined performances.

The other thing I think is that they need to play other world class midfielders. When was the last time Stevie G and Lamps actually had any competition against them to get them excited pre-game? maybe a duel with Ballack and Frings in the next round would be better for us because it might get the players up for it...

Exactly, u have teams who obviously don't have the talent, experience and matches vs. top talent to be considered title contenders, but if u don't come out to play in the WC, any team can knock you off . . games are not simulated at this level. Being ****y in a WC will only have u going home much earlier than u anticipated.
