No they get 1 pt for a tie.

Now they have 4pts because they beat IRAN and Tie Angola.

The group so far is
Mexico 4pts
Portugal 3pts (have yet to play thier 2nd game)
Angola 1pt
Iran 0pt (have yet to play thier 2nd game)

So if portugal wins tommorrow they will lead with 6pts or if they tie iran they will be tied with Mexico. Next week Mexico plays portugal. And what great unlike right now where they play one game at a time all four team play thier schedule match at the same time so nobody know if they qualified until after thier game ends.

as it stands now...I think they get the #2 spot in the group...
