It was a good game, looks like we finally got a miss(blocked) kick for a win. I saw a lot of future NFL players on that field last night and have to say I would love to see a few of Miami's front seven wearing aqua and coral on Sunday's in a few years. Those LB's are already good, but they look to be elite, all three of them. They are also about 8 deep on the D line with a few guys looking to be future first round picks.
Brad Kaaya, although looked good looked like he was a little rattled at times. I like him, but not sold on him as a first round pick. He made some really nice throws, and has a great touch on those fade routes, but I don't know, can't put my finger on it, I just done see "it" from him.
FSU's defense finally played man most of the game, and even with it's top player (James) out they still showed they can play. Derrick Nnadi is finally starting to look healthy and is looking like the dominate player he has flashed. I wouldn't hate to see DeMarcus Walker playing in Miami on Sunday's as well. IMO he is one of if not the best all around DE in the country. Unfortunately he will be a mid-first round pick and unless Miami trades back he wont be in Miami.
Deondre Francois is one tough SOB, it's going to be fun to watch him grow over the next three years as a QB. I am still not sold he has the "it" factor, but he started swaying me last night as he took a beating and still came back and performed well.
Either way it was a damn good game, and with Ritch in Miami (where he belongs) I think this rivalry will be back to where it was very soon.
