You are darn right we are doing bad... But as bad as we have been, we still have a lead in the great AL East. Although I am mad that we are playing bad, we will make a move and we are about to get our big gun back. Theo will sure up the bullpen as best he can, hopefully without giving up an big prospects...

Your big gun is BIG, he's about 300 lbs. You have no idea if you can count on him. W/ that said I still expect Boston to be there when it counts and it will be a Yankee-Red Sox battle once again.

Speedrush, it's like I said all along, the worst thing the Orioles and Red Sox could have done was give the Yankees a second life. They should have put the Yankees away when they had the chance!

You make it seem like we've been playing great baseball.

All you do is say the same thing over and over again. NO ONE on this thread is scared of the Yankees. Until Yankee pitchers prove they can get Red Sox hitters out, is there really any reason to worry as a Red Sox fan?

Oh and by the way, have fun with the toughest remaining schedule in the AL. We'll be sure to enjoy Fenway for most of the second half. :)

Is he really that big?? I saw a couple of shots of him on the pregame show, and he didn't look all that different (maybe it was the video).

If this is the case, hopefully the Dolphins sign him up to play DT. We could use another big body on our DL. (Who needs Manuel Wright?)

I could see him running directly over Kevin Mawae..

He's like 25-30lbs more then last year...

Speaking of weight, Pude Rodriguez looks like an elementary school student. I gotta believe Canseco when he says Pudge juiced!

Pudge said last year (before any of this Jose ****) that he was to fat and he needed to lose weight. He said he was sluggish and slow/

I'll believe him before Canseco.

I think I might be one of the few people that actually believes Jose and who he said took them and didn't. In my opinion Jose obviously knows people who took them, why would he lie and just name names for the hell of it. Also look at Sosa and Pudge from this year to last year.... maybe they trained together in the offseason.

More power to you. I'm with Canseco on this one, but I can understand people questioning his credibility. Looking at Pudge tonight though was scary. As someone who works out, I think he juiced. It doesn't take anything away from him (still one of the greatest catcher to ever play the game) but I definitely think he dabbled during his time!

I think pretty much whole Texas Ranger team was on the juice at that time. Look at Juan Gonzales, he was the MVP for 2 to 3 years in a row then all of the sudden drops off the face of the earth. Then there's Jose... obviously on the juice. Then Pudge. I honestly think Palmerio took more then just viagra in Texas...

I'm with you Ray. Like I said before looking at Pudge's transformation tonight was scary!

So is Sammy Sosa's... speaking of which Sosa was playing for the Rangers around that time too....

Sosa is done. I think the only reason the Orioles took a chance on him (aside from the Cubs taking on a lot of his money) was because they thought he was going to hit 600 this year which would have made him an attraction. At the rate he's going, he's going to need half of next season to reach that number!

You're 100% right. They knew that with the Nationals nearby they would possibly take away fans from the O's games so they took a shot with him. They didn't give up anything for Sosa, in fact the move for Sosa helped the O's in that Roberts was given the 2nd base job without any competition or pressure of losing it to Hairston, Jr. and I think he's doing a better then average job right now for them ;)

Like our whole last month we play at home almost every series... I like our chances since we have a great home record.. We have played the toughest part of our schedule, the Yanks is still coming up...
