orlando pace to giants

how? A Pro Bowl LT for an underacheiving CB, a 2nd rounder and an oft injured WR?

Pace does not have an agent, he fired his, therefore can't do a new deal to make the trade happen until he has an agent.

This is just a rumor, and has not happened!

Makes little sense for either team the ram's o-line is getting worse by the minute as it is, they have no need for toomer in their already deep receiving corps and allen isn't much of an upgrade at db whilst the giants would be giving up 2 starters and there only pick in the first 3 rounds

Pace won't be moving

INDIANAPOLIS - Orlando Pace is not coming to the Giants. In fact, he's probably not going anywhere at all.

St. Louis coach Mike Martz said yesterday he is not shopping his star left tackle because "our intention is keep him." Asked specifically if he had talked to the Giants about Pace, Martz said, "Why would we do that?"

Martz went on to say that any talk about dealing Pace at all is "premature" because the six-time Pro Bowler didn't have an agent - and with Pace guaranteed a salary of $8.4 million as the Rams' "franchise player," any team interested in him likely would want to negotiate a long-term contract. However, late last night Pace reportedly signed with Kennard McGuire and Fletcher Smith of CSMG sports, removing that obstacle. Still, that's not likely to change the Rams' plans, even though they did call the Giants last week to gauge their interest in making a deal. The conversation ended quickly when the Giants realized the price likely would be too high.
