One more drink!! Cheers, Rob Ryan!!!
They dont look so tough to lose to the Browns. First it was KC now the Brown stains. We should easily handle them they just arent the same without Polomalu. Did anyone watch this incredibly boring game we should sack Rothlisberger atleast 8 times.
Thank you Browns for ending the Super Bowl Champs shot at a Playoff berth.
Knowing Miami, it will be a close game regardless of who is playing. God never gives Miami a break.
wow! The stars are aligning
We are the big winner of that game. Troy is unsure if he is coming back, but if that game is meaningless like it is now, he won't play. That game is getting a lot less scary.
Wow they lost?? Awesome!
Where does this leave us officially in the Wild Card contention?
To the Browns! The Browns made them look silly!
whoever says the steeler game will be easy has not watched the dolphins this year, bc every game we play no matter whom the opponent is, we seem to go down to the wire.
Remember this is the dolphins we are talking about. I firmly believe the football gods hate us and like to toy with us. The game against them at the end of the year will be tough as hell. You can bank on that.
This loss didnt matter much for us. We still have to play them. We still have to beat them. Even if they had won tonight, a victory over them would put us ahead of them. This mattered not.
Thank god we didnt get Quinn his accuracy is terrible
Isn't this the exact same position we were in before?
Uhh.......No...The Steelers would be in 7-6 and in position to take either WC spot. This loss was important to us, whether you can comprehend it or not.
Dude the loss was super important, Sunday's game just got a whole lot bigger for Miami. Everything is falling into place and I hope they take advantage.
There is only one way we will go to playoffs and that is if we win every game from here period. Although it is great Pitt lost do not ever mistake it when we play Pitt it is always a close game do guys remember two years ago in the rain well it is time to do some pay back. Oh and the jags, TN, Hous. are not no cake walk either. This **** is scary.
You are exactly right. If we win this weekend, we are legit contenders. If we win out, there is a good chance we can win the division again! Even if we dont, ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS WIN, AND WE ARE IN!!!!!! :
Again, we have to win out. But we control our destiny. Win out: PLAYOFFS! and this is more we could say before this Steelers loss.
Stick a fork in the Steelers, they're done. Too bad we could have used a win by them against the Ravens. Guess they could still win that game even though they're playing like garbage right now.
If looked so F'ing cold I would throw the game just to get back in the locker room. You know when guys from Pittsburgh and Cleveland are freezing its Damn Cold!!
..........and if we did go to the playoffs we would be playing somewhere cold! Damn Buffalo game!
Don't under estimate these divisional games and the hatred they have for each other. Don't you think Pitts would want nothing more than to prevent Baltimore from making the playoffs?
Not if the Pats lose one more game, and we win out. Then we host a game most likely vs the Pats or Ravens. I do not want to play the Ravens in the playoffs ever again.
I'm sure the Pats said the same thing about us after Buffalo. We can risk underestimating NO ONE at this point.
Ravens D isn't what it was last year. Don't forget, they gave us our one win at the end of 2007.
you looked at the pats schedule??? it's as dicky v would say "cup cake central baby"
Wouldn't surprise me if the Patriots lost to the Bills. The Patriots haven't played well on the road this year especially in the 4th quarter plus the Bills have been pretty much in every game this year. That game will be like the Bills' Superbowl. I still think the Patriots will lose 2 of their remaining 4 games. The bigger issue with the Dolphins will be can they win out.
You're probably right, plus the Ravens haven't looked all that impressive either.I think Chicago will give them a run for their money also.
And the freakin' CLEVELAND BROWNS just beat the PITTSBURGH STELERS! Nothing's a sure thing anymore, and N.E. today is NOT the team it once was.
its because we don't have any home run hitters at the receiver position and a limited offense.
I don't know what was worse, watching this game, or watching NFL Network coverage.
i no seriously, the nfl network would be able to make the superbowl boring to watch. this network seriously needs to get a better announcing team, so boring to listen to.
this doesnt really change much for us, if we win out its still not guaranteed play-offs, the ravens would have to lose a game or the patriots would have to lose to an afc team (i think) All this does for us is mean if we need that game at the end of the season, it will be easier because the steelers will have nothing to play for
cnt they also lose to the panthers bc then they would have one loss to a common opponent in which we beat.
not according to this yahoo play off generator i used.
check it out, its pretty cool to try out all the possible scenarios
if we win out, im pretty confident we will be in the playoffs.
oh ya, me too, but i was just trying to make it clear that we dont control our own destiny. if by some crazy chance we win out, Baltimore wins out, and New England wins out, we dont get in... barring a major denver meltdown
wow I just woke up and seen the score....LOL to say the least.
when we beat jags they r pretty much 7-7 cause the colts will mop them
so it boils down to the ravens pats and broncos
since the broncos will finish 10-6 what r our tiebreaker situations with them?
do u no the reason as to why we wouldnt get in if new england lost to the panthers and we won out? they would also have 4 confrence losses like us, and we would have the same div record and have split head to head.
this doesn't matter much because if the fins wanted to get into the playoffs a win against the steelers was a must, we still need the ravens to lose at least 1...
According to the playoff scenario generator, we can win out and not get in!!
Their QB has not practiced in 2 days. Their best pass rusher will most likely be cut or traded after his out burst today. They also have the Jags and Texans(the team the poll on this site says is our biggest fear) left. They have not won on the road, and are awful against the pass, so they could easily lose that game. They also have Buffalo left on the schedule, as division games are never a sure thing, and Carolina who has 2 great RBs and a tough d, so I would not say cup cake. It is not as hard as ours, but not cupcake.
The Browns version of the wildcat kicked their butts
Troy isn't coming back, especially now with nothing to play for.
No, Miami never gives Miami a break!
Trust me, bro...it was cold here yesterday.
WOAH! There's probably only a .001% chance of it happening but we can actually get a first round bye with a #2 seed if we win out! Then again, as has been said, we can actually not get in, too!
EDIT: This is the unlikely scenario with link at the bottom....
#1 Seed Indy (doesn't matter what their record is)
#2 Seed Miami (10-6)
#3 Seed Cinci (10-6)
#4 Seed San Diego (9-7)
#5 Seed Baltimore (9-7)
#6 Seed Denver (9-7)
I know, probably not happening! Just thought I'd pointing out a possibility...slim as it might be!
thats wrong... we need Baltimore to lose, if we win out and baltimore wins out, Bmore gets that last playoff spot...
Pittsburgh didn't matter because as long as we won out, which includes beating them when we play them the last week, it didn't matter whether the steelers lost or won tonight... Baltimore is the team that puts us in a position to not control our own destiny
The likley hood that the Fins, Ravens and Pats all wining out is very un-likely. All these teams will at least drop one game IMO.
