Not 100, 65.
And MOST never worked for WWE. Some died of natural causes like Cancer. Others died in car accidents 10 years after working for the WWE.

The list is very very misleading

I don't think so. There are a lot of them that took steroids and pain killers that never saw 40 because of all the stuff they took. The list was of 100 deaths I am pretty sure. The Von Erich's is the ones on the list that really hit home. They had Johnny Grunge's wife on, excuse me I can't remember her name, but she was a good friend of Chris Benoit.

There aren't 100 that died before 40. The list is 65 before the age of 40. It was the USA Today list that was reported last week.

The thing to remember is only 5 wrestlers have died that were under contract to WWE at the time of their death. And out of those 5, one was sucicide (Benoit) and one was an accident (Owen). WWE makes the case that only 3 guys have died under their watch from drugs/painkillers/enlarged heart due to drugs. That's a fact.

Most on that list never worked for WWE or at the time of their death hadn't worked for them in many many years

I am saying 100 died in total, but a majority were due to steriods and other drugs such as Flying Brian Phibin. I would not take too much creditability in what the WWE says, since they are pushing the althletes to be bigger and better.

This is the same WWE that years ago an article hit the front pages of the papers out here in So. Cal. that when the wrestlers came out of the ring they got there behinds smacked, and if they didn't perform special favors to some in the WWE Management they didn't get the big matches. I am keeping it PG, but I think you can figure out what the Management was.

Lex Luger, bottom right, and Rey Mysterio, bottom left, are reportedly among the professional wrestlers named in a search warrant document tied to a federal probe of Dr. Phil Astin, Chris Benoit's personal physician.

At least six professional wrestlers -- including Chris Benoit, former champion Lex Luger and popular current star Rey Mysterio -- have been implicated in the federal government's probe of a Georgia doctor who already has been indicted for improperly prescribing pain killers and other drugs and who may face additional charges.

The incident you talk of happened. Back in the early 80's. 1983, 84, and 85'. Mel Phillips and Pat Patterson were the people doing what you said. But that was a looooooooooooong time ago. Nothing of this nature happens these days anymore. Nor did anything like this happen 5 days ago.

And Nancy Grace has done a god awful job in her coverage. Saying Benoit was depressed because he was recently demoted from the 4-Horsemen show to the RAW show. And then saying nobody dies of "sleep apena" refering to Johnny Grunge. Uh, Reggie White and about a few million americans die of Sleep Apena die each year!!

Nancy Grace is a terrible journalist
