As soon as the Jets hired Sparano I was like, "Dang! There goes one rival!" lol

Seriously. SMH. Unbelievable that people are willing to get high on mediocre talent -- whether players, coaches or GMs.

Wayne Huizenga hired some awful coaches during his tenure. You can argue that Wayne destroyed this franchise.

Yes, you can. Certainly puts to rest the notion that being a good businessman makes one a good sports owner.
 
Agents Wannstedt and Sparano both won AFC East titles for the Dolphins but excelled in their service this past year. It is hard to decide who contributed more. Both may be available for service elsewhere, soon.
Agents Chan Gailey, Norv Turner and Mike Mularkey also defied all expectations and unfortunately Chan and Norv are now available to serve our needs at other clubs. Do not fear, some brilliant GM will snap them up quickly. They have plenty of experience.
Agent Cam Cameron, our master drafter (heh, he picked Soliai and Fields in addition to the Ginn family) is available again. Maybe Bill Belichick needs an experienced Offensive mind to help Brady. If Agents Henning and Parcells keep betting on slow ponies they could be tempted out of retirement. Big Tuna is a great negotiator who will insist that he likes the owner but he could really help any team and he has a great work ethic to boot. Unfortunately Agent Saban while having the necessary ego and integrity to match the truly great in the NFL seems more content to swim in Alabama crimson tides. Maybe next year.....

You could say that about most of the former Dolphin coaches.
