What do u guys think of Ricky Williams?

Woody Paige on "Around the Horn" was saying today that he thinks that Saban is going to talk Ricky into coming back and playing for the fins. They where talking about Edge coming to Miami and he said he didn't think that Edge would be here because Saban is going to get Ricky back.

I personally think that he was just blowing smoke. :)

Honestly

I dont hate him, he provided us some really exciting moments like

- The Entire 2002 season. It was a long highlight reel
- When he ran on one hand vs Pats
- Vs Jags that incredible run were he cut back and forth and broke tackles
- His interviews were always funny
- Pro Bowl MVP
- 230+ yard game vs Bills that we lost because of Ray lucas


I dont hate him because he is trying to find himself. I just wish He decided to retire at the end of 2003. Then we could have drafted a RB, Traded for Dillon or signed a Free agent. Or he shoulda played out the season.

Idk if i speak for alotta people when i say I am not mad at him for retiring Just the time he did retire.

I agree man, he was my idol, u have no idea how big of a Williams fan I was, I was just as pissed as anyone, but everyone needs to get over what he did. Because he could return and we can get a lot of value out of him!

Sure he played great, he WAS quite a talented back. Now he is a chronic aruvedic sociopath. When will you guys get it through your heads!! He is not in the NFL anymore nor will he ever be again. The majority of us are sick and tired of these threads that are fishing for approval for him to come back. The saddest thing about it is there is a snowball chance in hell he will be running again next year, or any year for that matter.

he quit but he would have had to sit out half the season anyways for league suspensions. like that would have been much better. and a lot of u people who call him a pot head, i would like to see what would happen if someone took away your beer. nearly everyone has a vice of some sort. now dolphins have saban and a future, get over the hate. ricky was worth it just for his big season and watching him destroy defensive backs. i love ricky williams running style. if he could come back in an offense that doesn't make him run into brick walls every down, it would be awesome to watch. and give the man some rest. he deserves a little respect for carrying the ball more than any back in the league for the 2 years he was here. i'd quit too if wannstedt was my coach and used me like a goat going to the slaughter.

What do i think of Ricky Williams. Ricky Williams is one helluva football player. thats what i think of him. I would like him to make a comeback, so we can be a contender next season. I am really upset about what he did, but im a dolphin fan and all i want them to do is win games, and he gives us the best chance to win games. I hope this is the case, and he can repay us by rushing for 1500+ yards next season. the man is a BEAST.

I loved him at Texas, I hated him at New Orleans, I loved him with the fins, I hated him when we quit. Thats the way football is. Imagine how pissed everyone would have been if he came back and on another team, wow having to see his @$$ on the field.

I hate knowing that I am in the same time zone as him, and I really hate that he is going to school an hour from me. But i will tell you this, When my JT jersey is dirty, and my Marino Jersey is dirty, I where his jersey. It still has the dolpihins on it. However the "R" is almost gone now. I could care less whether he smokes pot, drinks beer or snorts kangaroo ****, he quit when his team had no recourse or viable option to replace him...Therefore, I reserve the right to hate the sucker. But, I will say that this issue is now behind the Fins...lets move on.
