Also, not a huge fan of the idea that Joseph can only coach within very strict parameters. I prefer coaches that can mould the defense to its talents and be creative. If Joseph can't do that, I'd move on from him before Suh as well. I like Wade Phillips's take on it:

True, but I think it comes down to what defense he and Gase feel will be best for the team moving forward. It may be a combination 4-3/3-4 who knows.
It does seem like there are many more pass rushers who are in the 240-260 range than 280-320. Those smaller guys can play end if they can set the edge. It will be interesting to see what happens in regard to the defense for sure.
