god ****ing damn it...

1. girardi has to know SOME GAMES ARE WON IN THE ****ING 8TH INNING...put the god damn closer in there.

2. amezega blows against lefties, why the **** is he in?

3. olivo is sucking, why the **** is he in?

4. the ****tiest umpiring i have ever seen.

god damn it, this loss hurts...could have been one ****ing game back.

i am furious right now.

You got a call or two as well. When franco was up with 1st and 3rd 1 out in the 7th the 1-1 pitch tankersly threw a breaking ball 4-6 inches off the plate and he called that **** a strike, so it was equally bad.
 
man we blew our shot at gaining a game on SD, they won't lose too many more games so we have to capitalize when we have a chance

season is officially over.

great season for teh baby fish...im expecting big things of us next year.
 
Figures...I leave Florida and we tank, no pun intended. Still hoping for a miracle, but regardless, this season has surpassed all expectations. I'd still love to finish .500 or better and in second place.

It's amazing that we could actually be disappointed by this season. In March, you tell most Marlins fans that we'll win 65 games, and they're satisfied. Now, not making the playoffs is a fireable offense. Go figure.
 
This team or fans have NOTHING to feel bad about. Everyone was laughing at this team in the winter and early spring and look what happened. I said after the firesale that the Marlins would win the WS by 2009 and hey I might be wrong.... it might be sooner. This team is fun to watch (I have been watching a lot more Marlin games recently thanks to my team dying already). The future is going to be good in South FL. So you Marlin fans don't feel bad yet, there's still a few weeks left and a lot can happen.

If they don't make the playoffs, Loria will use that as an excuse to fire Girardi. Then again it wouldn't be wise to piss off those who pay your salary now would it?
 
Nah everybody chill man, there is still time . . . no need to get frustrated . .. the goal was to finish at .500 or better . . . WC would have been an added bonus. 4 losses back, thats ok . . . the REds looked uncatchable and they faltered . . . lets hope San Diego does the same. We all know what we have to do against Philly as well. So we still can win this thing.

I'm not gonna lie tho . . the bullpen killed this team last year and is doing the same this year . . . can't we get somebody reliable in there for the 7th and 8th innings . . .jeez man. Hank Goldberg and the guy who writes for the Sun-sentinel quotes "18 games this team has lost, when having the lead starting the 8th inning" . . . that is a real sad statistic.
