Amendola/landry Deja Vu?

Temperamental and difficult to please, I agree. Except he’ll fight anyone, he’s tough and plays through pain. He assumes a domineering role every bit as much as being self-important. He plays with passion and he’s really good at football. Not saying he isn’t a Diva too, but IMO an alpha male is more appropriate.
 
My hope is the difference will be we wont be FORCING the ball to Danny like we did Landry.

I think sometimes Landry and our use of him got in the way of a more diverse offense, for lack of better wording.

It does look like Landry is yet another in a long line of diva receivers. That Venn diagram would basically just be a circle because the divas are almost always alphas.

At some point the diva act hurts the team (getting kicked out of games ...) so they made the decision to move on. It might end up being the right decision but once again ... just like every other instance since the beginning of time ... the Dolphins wouldn't understand value if it shook it's big fat titties in their collective faces.
 
I think Thill tended to take the easy way out if the primary receiver was covered, rather than work through progressions, and so Landry became a safety blanket. Hopefully, Thill has progressed and/or won't be able to lean on that as much. If he does continue to default to the slot, then I'd rather have Landry for his toughness, fight for YAC , and competitiveness. But I'd much rather we're able to spread it around and take advantage of mismatches, and can do without the other headaches and cost of Landry . That said, Amendola will likely be injured by game 4, so Thill won't have that option!
 
Tannehill to Amendola will be closer to Deja Pooh than Deja Vu when compared to Landry. He doesn't Brady throwing to him anymore or Landry's catch radius.

Oh please! This is now a leadership problem? The best leaders also know when to cut and run. Let him be a younger, tougher more durable alpha head case somewhere else.
 
A competent OL is required for a QB to go through his progressions, anything but and he's forced to get the ball out quick which is where Landry feasted. If the protection holds this O is designed to spread the ball around rather than force feed the slot.

getting caught up on this thread....hmmm why don't we create a new word and trade mark it. finheaven can get the royalities......ALPHA DIVA. its for males who show traits of a DIVA while masquerading as an ALPHA. boo yaa, Landry was an ALPHA DIVA!

Don’t tell me you think the patients run the asylum? If not, then it’s always a leadership issue. My best salespeople need emotional support. It makes my job harder at times, but our productivity is better with them. Surely I prefer the great sales guy without the headaches. I could coast through my job with guys like that. But they’re very few and far between and I would be out of a job if every sales guy produced, showed up on time, did their job the right way and didn’t need their belly rubbed to keep them moving forward at times.

You cut and run if the headcase isn’t producing or doesn’t care about winning.

Interesting, someone that calls themselves a goat wants to operate on literal translations. You know your name basically translates to calling yourself "a hardy domesticated ruminant animal that has backward curving horns and if a male a beard. It is kept for its milk and meat."

Trying again just for you...Tannehill and Amendola will not be close to as effective as Tannehill and Landry. Hope that helps Billy. :)
