Players The Dolphins Met With At Shrine Practices

They will talk to about 200 kids by the time April comes around and we'll draft 7. But they need to do their work and this is a good start.

Quite the selection of QB's between the Shrine game and the Senior Bowl....

Senior Bowl alone....

Drew Lock, Missouri, 6-4, 225
Daniel Jones, Duke, 6-5, 220
Ryan Finley, North Carolina State, 6-4, 212
Trace McSorley, Penn State, 6-0, 203
Tyree Jackson, Buffalo, 6-7, 245
Will Grier, West Virginia, 6-2, 223
Clayton Thorson, Northwestern, 6-4, 226
Jarrett Stidham, Auburn, 6-3, 215
Gardner Minshew II, Washington State, 6-2, 220

No offense to you, but that list makes me nauseous.

For what it’s worth, the more I research, the more I like Kyler Murray. His ability to throw accurately off any platform is unlike anyone I’ve ever seen. I’m thoroughly convinced that if he was two inches taller, he’d be the unquestioned #1 overall pick.

Better than haskins or murray.

NO "athletic" QBs. Give us a TRUE passer.

DREW LOCK is your man. He will be playing on sundays and playing well.

Kid has fire, takes hits and shrugs it off, athletic enough and his long ball is incredible. Big play man. Unlike tanny, he is a guy who will make the big play rather than the big mistake. Sure, he's made mistakes and i am sure the nay sayers are combing youtube finding them. What i see is a very coachable kid with off the charts long ball, guts and big play abilities. NFL coaching WILL fix where he lacks.

I dont particularly like the athletic/so-so qb. Murray has jaw dropping athleticism for sure but.....?, when one of your worst attributes is reading progressions slow and not recognizing defensive alignments fast is a killer. He will be coming to the NFL and if we take him, well, remember we have bill billicheck who doesnt give one crap about murray and gregg williams with the jets.

Both of those men can sceam him into his weeknesses on their lunch breaks. If he were a real deal passer also, different story. Billicheks forever changing defensive looks will have murry counting blades of stadium grass everytime he gets confused. All in all, i would rather have the big time playmaker passing qb with decent athleticism than a athletic type whos great until time to throw.
