Josh Rosen Would Have Gone #1 Overall This Year?

Yes and unfriending the Cards on social media after they picked Murray was kinda immature. At least wait 24 hours or so.
unless he was told the deal was done and he was gone, just because both clubs didn't announce it to the league and media doesn't mean the deal wasn't done already and he knew it.

If Rosen respected intelligence he never would've been a Dolphin 'cause there ain't no intelligent life in Davie. And now he joins the band of morons.

This argument gets no traction with me, because I can gladly answer that no, I wasn't that much of a dumbass when I was 21.

I may be that much of a dumbass now, but that's different.
Not a dumbass, just young and arrogant and not wise to the ways of the true adult world. Immature.

This is the dumbest post in the history of posts, maybe ever.
Ignore him, he'll go away...

It "clicks" for us all at one point or another in our lives, it just hasn't clicked for him yet.

This isn't a big issue at all. They committed to another player so he wanted to move on and knew he was being shipped out.

How would you feel having your social media bombarding you with Kyler Murray all over the place? This thing is a non-story.
Yeah I suppose. I hadn’t thought of it that way. Then again, if it was me, and I had been drafted by the Cards I never would have friended them in the first place!

I definitely think Murray is the better prospect. But this year is a very weak QB class, so who knows. I had Rosen rated as a bust coming out, so he would never have topped my boards. Did nothing in Arizona to change my mind. If the kid is going to have an attitude adjustment that changes his NFL trajectory, it needs to happen now
I'm just interested here about you watching his one year in Arizona. How did you feel about them hiring Steve Wilks which was strange/questionable hire to lead that team? How did you feel about Mike McCoy running up the middle 90 percent of the time and showing what a terrible oc he is? How do you feel about handing the reigns to a new oc mid year and trying to install a new offense? How do you feel about the offensive talent being diminished by injuries/poor drafting? How do you feel about Rosen handling the quickest sac rate in the league?

My point is their is a ton of context as to why the Cardinals were awful last year. To pin the blame on Rosen without providing any of the context is a poor argument. What attitude are people talking about? Sensible cardinals fans didn't seem to think he had one

I don't know who his agent is, but Gaines and maybe even Ross should have a Come To God meeting with him since his own earnings depend on Rosen not washing out. The agent should put a stop to social media, and manage him on a regular basis including having him not speak his mind so freely. As far as learning, Rosen is allegedly very smart, respects intelligence so I don't think there will be a problem cueing to Fitzpatrick and taking mentoring from Caldwell so there's that too.
Great points.

Someone needs to figure out how to reach Rosen, and if that is a Come To God meeting, then that's what needs to be done. The talent is there, but like RG3, Jeff George, Jay Cutler, Ryan Leaf, etc., its the mindset and attitude that need to get with the program. If we can reach him, the kid has the talent. You're right, the first step is probably to prevent him from being his own worst enemy on social media. Winning the team's hearts and minds is hard enough, but it never helps to lose the fans hearts and minds too.

The intelligence aspect is the best thing about this situation. According to multiple reports pre-draft, the NFL researchers all said Rosen tends to get bored if he isn't intellectually challenged, and our offense is one of the most demanding of the QB in all of the NFL, so this is about as challenging as the NFL gets intellectually, and it provides Rosen with the most control over his own production of any offense in the NFL today. He makes the line calls, the audibles, everything. It's truly all on him, he needs to study it all and master it all. Very few QB's have the mental horsepower to run this offense, but he is one of them. We offer a very rare opportunity, and possibly even unique as the Patriots position isn't available. If Rosen needs a mental challenge, this is it, and he needs us as much as we need him.

Fitzpatrick knows he's at the tail end of his career, and I doubt he'll be too pushy against Rosen. More likely he'll try to help the kid develop and hope to pass the torch to him as Fitzmagic fades into the cushy job of a backup QB. If it doesn't work out, we have incentive to keep Fitzmagic to train the next young QB. If he doesn't train Rosen, we'll likely get rid of both of them. So it should be a good QB room with these two in it. The stage is set for Rosen to succeed.

We're building a good OL, and Michael Deiter is a good start. He picks up stunts and twists well, so he'll complement Tunsil on the left side in pass protection. Deiter can also be a backup LT if Tunsil gets injured. Most importantly, Deiter is a mauler who can make sure we open run lanes when the defenses start stacking against the pass. IMHO, our left side is now set. That's good news for Rosen's blindside, as he didn't react well to pressure last year. We're building a team around him.
