Fitzgerald appraisals were completely different for each individual.
One is praised for his resilience the other his football abilities.

I wouldn't put any stock into anything a player or coach says about another player or coach when asked on the record.
thank god they see live action in a week. I'm sure most of yalls kids could ID a MLB. Pouncey was awesome with calling out the blocking schemes. Cam Newton the person annoys the hell out of me but i remember one game where the LB told Cam he knew exactly what was coming on defense and hit them for a TD. Rosen is a smart kid and it seems like about 50% of the posters here want Rosen taking over after the biweek, i think that would be plenty of time for him to be 100% latched on to this.
People are going to drive themselves crazy with Rosen and Fitz in this TC. We're now less than 7 days away from the first pre season game. We'll all be able to see how they do along with the rest of the team.
For the record, the QB or the center can ID the MLB all game long but that doesn't mean they're going to block him well. When you look at the low amount of points this team has scored over the last several years you'd think they didn't block anybody.

IfIhe cant identify a Mike backer and much less an NFL defense then the kid is not ready to start, and I doubt the light bulb comes on this year, if at all.
He’ll make the competition close enough by the end of preseason. Nobody said he can’t identify the Mike. He was never asked to.
i think most of the time the center calls the blocking assignments, or good centers at least. the qb reading should be to just set adjustments in what he sees on top of it for both coverages and blitz pick up assignments. i would think, ive never played on the offense side except intramural . and the qb can call blitz assignments all day but if the line whiffs then maybe it isnt a qb issue

Totally agree. For me, I want to see Rosen play in the preseason behind the "starters". I'm not clear from the TC reports whether Rosen is getting most of his snaps behind the 2nd string OL, or whether he is working equally with the starters.
If Fitz plays with the1st team against Atlanta, and Rosen plays with the 2nd string, I don't think we'll be any clearer on how Rosen is doing.
The way Rosen speaks, he is eager to finally have full command of this offense because it's like getting the keys to a new Porsche. The QB really does a bunch pre snap and that takes reps, and reps and reps and there will be a moment when Rosen can say I've got this. Right now Fitz is ahead of him on the mental aspect, when Rosen catches up in that area I believe he can outplay and out perform Fitz. I think he's going to love the way he has full control and he really seems dedicated to get up the learning curve quickly. The question is how long will it take until he gets it. Nobody knows that answer, not even Rosen. There is also a chance he never gets there. We have to just play this one out.

It's a responsibility thing not an ability thing but since it's new to him there is an adjustment, which he says he is slaying . . . Which he should be slaying. I wouldn't even make the assumption as that being a reason for the perceived "slow start" for Josh. Then again I think he has been fine tbh.
They are throwing a lot at him and he has never been able to settle in on any offense in his career, college or pro. The talent is there and he is a very smart kid, a portion of the fan base is far too antsy right now when it comes to training camp but I get it, we have been an irrelevant franchise for a long time and people are tired of it.
Every year people spend the year looking forward to the next year. It's weird. Enjoy the now, especially with so many new parts here. It's not like we are on Tannehill year 8 and Gase year 4 . . . It's the closest thing to a fresh start that we have had since 2008.
Cause it is normal for a skid of a person like Fitz ilk to run a rookie qb to ruin who he sees landed in a bad situation - sheesh

True but he didn’t have to say anything at all. He could’ve just kept quiet like many of Tannehill’s teammates. Plus there were others who praised Rosen, not just Fitzgerald.
