Salguero - Neither Rosen Or Fitzpatrick Will Be The Dolphins Long Term Quarterback

Time will tell...I don’t subscribe to Armando’s magic 8 ball... or Arizona’s perception of Brian Flores.

It’s only common sense Miami will be prepared if they have to go QB in round 1 next year... it’s also common sense that Brian Flores is going to push and challenge Josh Rosen...to see what he is made of...and see if he is the chosen one!

I agree with Mando. Next draft class is loaded at QB. I don't think we're going to suck enough to pick Tua or Herbert, but I could see Steven Montez in a fins uni.

What is giving away pass/run by the way he leaves the huddle?

Like what would be an example of that.

In my academic carer we played a team who's QB licked his fingers if he had called a pass play. Didn't do that for run plays.

Feel like the board is slowly moving towards the thought that the 2020 draft is the best place to get our QB. By week 4 or 5 the bandwagon will be pretty full.

I mean right now I'm looking forward to 2019. I wanna see how some of these young guys come of age, including Rosen. I want to see how the coaching staff handles personnel, scheme and see if they can get the best out of this group.

If I cant have that, there is no hope for me getting excited about a 2020 QB when we'll likely ruin him in the process.

Gonna root for the 2019 group, tailgate, prop up, complain, etc. And worry about 2020 when it's here.

It's really the way to handle it, realizing our rooting interests affect nothing and just rooting for the team and letting the chips fall s they may. Many don't understand this. I swear they think if they root for losses they will come. What a laugher!

haha not what I think at all. Me rooting for them to win the past 20 years sure hasnt brought the wins. Going into this season hoping for 9-10 wins is just setting yourself up for disappointment. Me rooting for a top pick has a better chance of not being disappointed than the opposite.

I'm not rooting for any amount of wins. Just take one game at a time, my biggest point is NO MATTER WHAT the chips will fall as they may. I'm really not going to be disappointed no matter what happens. Having the #1 overall pick is just as unlikely as making the playoffs no matter what we read on here.

Maybe "the board" is. I'm not. The best place may already be on the team. Even the most fervent '20 QB advocates will admit no one knows yet. By game 15, Flo will know what he has . . . or will THINK he knows what he has. '20 may be the "best place" to get a top QB, but, for now, count me as undecided.

Absolutely false. Vegas has us at +250 to have the worst record in the NFL which is the best odds. Cardinals are second at +550. They have us as +900 to make the playoffs. I'm not really good at math but those arent equal.

I’m talking reality here not Vegas. How often does the team Vegas picks to have the worst record have the worst record? Last year they had 2 playoff teams (Chicago and Indy) expected to be worse than Arizona. Basically 40% of the teams they had in the bottom 5 made the playoffs and there bottom team was .500. Maybe they’ve done better in previous years but they sucked last year.

Haha they didnt suck last year I can guarantee you that. They make their money. Vegas gives you a price that is free from biases and emotion (unlike 95% of the responses on this site). Whatever way you want to look at it. Vegas gives us over 3 times better odds of getting the first pick than making the playoffs. You arent gonna win this argument. That's not to say the moon and sun don't align and we make the playoffs but its highly unlikely.
