We Suck 1 Year Too Early

It's Love or Tua for me this year. Herbert is a little better Tannehill.

Lawrence, Tua and Love is my order for qb the next 2 years.

I think Herbert is more natural than Tanny was (and I say that as a Tanny fan) but he does have to step up and be more than just a piece to the puzzle

I'm not sure Lawrence is somebody you would be able to "move up and get" if he continues along his current path whoever gets the #1 pick is drafting him case closed.

I agree, you are going to need the 1st pick of the draft. My fear is that this is Brady’s last year and the Cheaters tank for Trevor. Then we are in the same situation for another 17 years.

Wanting Tua because he gives the highest chance of success at the quarterback position is guaranteeing that he's going to be sure fire now? Didn't know this was a completely binary discussion.
I wish it weren’t a binary discussion, but some posters have made it so by saying Tua is sure fire and the team should tank to guarantee that we get the first overall pick and draft him. Fine, let’s say that happens. Then what? Take the chance of possibly turning him into another David Carr because the OL is so atrocious that he’s sacked 4-5 times a game? He could tear an ACL in November or January and seriously screw up his draft standing. Who knows, and that’s the point. No one knows what’s going to happen. Deciding to throw away an entire season on the hope that one player will be there in the draft and that they will be the one to definitely help turn the entire franchise around is ridiculous. Name one time that has happened (not you necessarily, but anyone). Name one team’s braintrust that has decided to completely tank the season and jeopardize their own careers simply for the sake of drafting one player in an upcoming draft.

colts Braintrust tanked the team from the front office.

Herbert has more off script in him than tannehill. Don’t like the comp personally

Yea..he has had a lot of bad luck( no pun intended)injuries.

Kinda feels like the Kevin Durant thing that was supposedly a calf but he played in one game and popped his Achilles. Calf my rear end.

I am most worried about the Redskins. I think any team in the League that finishes picking first is taking Tua outside of maybe the cardinals.

Washington’s a lot better than us on both sides of the los. Case Keenums trash but feels like they might squeak out a few more than us. I’m sure Haskins will see the field this year.

I might reconsider if Trent Williams gets traded
