DeVante Parker says no guarantee pain in foot will ever go away, but he can play through it: 'I'll be fine.
Such a bad pick.
No guarantee foot pain will ever go away? For ****'s sake. We consistently have the worst medical staff. None of them saw this coming predraft?
We're 15 months plus out from the original injury. Just drop the kid on the IR and have competent specialists treat him. These meaningless half speed practices to maybe be ready for his 2 snaps a game do nothing but aggravate an injury which threatens his whole career.
I wish these players would just not be honest when talking to the media. Fans simply can't handle honest answers like that. Just say what they want to hear and focus on work. "No guarantee pain in foot will ever go away" translates to "Oh dear lawd, my foot's gonna fall off!!1!" in their minds.
Did Devante Parker delete his Twitter account ? When was this ? I can't find it
I was trying to positive about Parker, but he is starting to feel more and more like a typical Miami pick
You believe lingering complications on a foot injury from a year and a half ago is worth glossing over? Honesty is working in his best interest as it usually does. It identifies the foot as an issue and allows everyone to focus on dealing with it. You'd rather everyone just assume he's not seeing the field or producing because he sucks?I wish these players would just not be honest when talking to the media. The problem with the offensive line, and then in a broader sense, is leakage at certain spots. It's not that the roster is awful everywhere. It's that certain positions are problematic and it kills the whole team.
I like Billy Turner, and his potential. He fires off the ball, can move, has power, and is nasty. It would be shortsighted to not work with his considerable potential.
So, you might scream, yeah, the offensive line SUCKS man. Well, that's because of leakage at LG, the lack of a swing tackle, and a good backup guard/center. The Dolphins actually have 4 solid starting pieces. If you look at Albert at LT, Pouncey at C, Turner at RG, and James at RT, that's fine. Guess how many games they've played in those positions the past two years together? Maybe one or two. Last year, Pouncey was suspended and then played guard. Albert got hurt. This year, Albert was hurt and then James got hurt. If you ever saw Albert, Pouncey, Turner, and James in their intended positions, this offense could click. The mistake would be to see a bad line and then say everyone sucks. Well those 4 guys, if in their positions, are good players.
We badly need a starting LG and a swing tackle. That's where the front office bombed. They should not have looked at Jason Fox and saw anything but a total stiff. Thomas has hurt the team. There are other positions of massive leakage. Certainly Kelvin Sheppard at mike. Going in at safety with a walking injury in Delmas and Aikens. Earl Mitchell. The leakage from certain positions killed the roster. So, goes the theory that you win with key stud guys and everyone else is replaceable. New England has solid guys everywhere. Bellicheat makes sure he has every contingency covered. It doesn't hurt to have tremendous high end talent like the best TE ever and a helluva receiver in Edelman too.
Miami's front office thinking they could function with Aikens at safety, Jamar at corner, Thomas at LG, Fox at swing tackle and Sheppard at MLB. Inexcusable.
