2005 Predictions

How does a Rookie Losman Make you feel better over a Vet QB like Gus?
Just wondering...I have Bills at 5-11...Fins at 7-9.
experience isn't always better. Take a look in house. AJ vs. Sage. A young talented qb can gain experience. Gus cannot gain his youth back.

Yeah.

Um, just asking. Give me your true opinion. If Sage Rosenfels were the starter, what would be your prediction for the 'Phins?
i honestly haven't seen enough of him to alter my prediction.

Well he's not a long term invesment plan for our QB situation. All we want is one half decent season from him. But whateva.

I don't necessarily feel great about Losman starting either, but our entire team is much better than the fins

sage is nothing more than a 3rd stringer, but i dont think our offense requires that much from a qb, so i think it won't make any difference at all. All our qbs are a little different in their styles, but all probably 3rd stringers at best.

Bills and dolphins are about the same talent wise i think. They match up closely at most posistions where we have an edge here and there and vice versa. Same with the jets.

Just to make it clear I don't think the fins are complete ****(just the qb situation). Even though I predicted 5-11, I still think they will give teams a fight week-in, week-out. Miami in many ways is a victim of circumstance...Put them in the NFC West and you could possibly get 8,9, maybe even 10 wins. They aren't terrible, but their schedule(just like ours) is downright brutal

Its a good fair set of predictions but you actually have to many wins, overall in a 16 game season with no ties there are 256 wins and 256 (i noticed when preparing mine)

Didn't say he was. Just answering his question. If experience was all that, then no one would draft youg players. Marino was once upon a time, an inexperienced player.

And we open with Denver who will completly kill us. That will set the tone.
Lienart(sp?) anyone?.

I actually think the Fins will upset Denver....I think Denver is overrated...not saying there bad, but I don't believe they make the playoffs

I would have to agree that the Donkeys miss the playoffs, but, they school us this weekend. Denver -4 1/2 is a steal IF you can bring yourself to do it.
As Al Pacino would say in the "Godfather" its not personal, its just business.

If the ol gets better i believe we will have a better record than expected. Gus will be fine he has been with a ton of team which he struggled at first with each team but did eventually put up decent #'s. I know he is not a great player or he would still be with his first or second NFL team but he can get us through it. It just depends on the line.

NE will not win the SB IMO. Pittsburg Baltimore even the Bengals are better. There are alot of team better this year.

whoa there...I'm not the most football-knowledgable guy, but I know the Bengals aren't better than the Patsies...hell none of those teams you listed are
