2005 Predictions

whoa there...I'm not the most football-knowledgable guy, but I know the Bengals aren't better than the Patsies...hell none of those teams you listed are

i dont expect them to really beat the patsies because they are champs but those teams can surprise the patsies because of there talent. Pittsburg just signed Hines Ward for 4 more years Ben is in his 2nd year he will be better and there defense is ranked the best in the NFL or predicted that they could be every bit as good as NE could now dont get me wrong just a thought. Other teams are getting better while NE is about the same so anything can happen.

I see what you're saying, but we don't necessarily know if New England is status quo or worse, yet. They have a lot of young talent on that team, and seem to be reloaded again. Until New England starts struggling(which they haven't since December 2002), I wouldn't bank on them being worse.

I would have to agree that the Donkeys miss the playoffs, but, they school us this weekend. Denver -4 1/2 is a steal IF you can bring yourself to do it.
As Al Pacino would say in the "Godfather" its not personal, its just business.

What other do you go on than odds? We were 4-12 last year... that's what that's based on. What do they have that we don't, other than a good OL? Only GOOD mind you. They won't run on us with our front seven supplanted with Zach gettin' off that ankle injury and Crowder starting. Shlt, we almost beat them with LAST years team... I mean c'mon now.

They have a better LB corps and secondary than do the Dolphins, better OL, better QB, better RB's (Ronnie Brown is nothing more than a rookie and has done nothing yet and Ricky is out for four games).

Im not saying they are worse other teams are just alot better. im just tired of the patsies being champs we have(bills and fins) been consistently better for years while the patsies sucked now they cant lose.

Let's see, we have Brown(who yes is a rookie but put up ok #'s in the PS against secondary and starting D's), Morris who had a good game against them last go round, and Chatman and Minor. They have Anderson, Q-Tip and Bell. Bout even if I do say so myself. Better QB?... Plumer... please he's just as sucky as Gus in my book. What's that about LB corps? We have Spragan, Crowder, Seau, Zach.. they have Wilson, Williams, and Gold I think... another push there. Secondary, IMO Madison=7/8 of Bailey... and then what else? Lynch? He sucks in pass coverage nowadays...The OL... sure it is better than ours. But what else do they have on us?

Prediction?.....The Dolphins with the first pick in the 2006 NFL draft take....a QB...a QB from USC.

Where's the fighting spirit man? So what're you saying? We suck so bad we might as well lay down for other teams? ... :shakeno: :shakeno: :shakeno:

Some fans of this team are way too fairweather.

I had Miami at 7-9 before the preseason, but I just think their QB situation is completely f*cked. Although most won't believe me, I'm honestly not trying to incite smack with my dolphins prediction. Fact is, they play in the toughest division in football, and have to play the 2 hardest divisions outside of them this year. They have no apparent answer for the QB spot, and their defense is going to be in for a rough year. Without the 2 bigs in the middle the run defense is gonna take a hit, and the secondary is young and unexperienced(outside of Madison). Also, Thomas is getting older and his play usually declines late in the year. All this is not intended as smack, it's just my assesment(sp?)

That was last season we lost our DTs. We've since replaced them.
