Draw me a picture of how you can compare two teams 50 years apart???

2005 USC to 1955 Oklahoma, jeez r they trying to make us look bad??? why not our 2000 team?????

Oklahoma's 2000 team or Miami's?

I agree you cant compare that far apart because in all fairness any team today could handle a 1950's team just because the way the game has evolved

But 4 years apart you can compare, and 2001 Miami easily handles 2005 USC
 
No contest. Miami wins 45-17 and that's being kind to USC.

TE - Shockey, Winslow
OL - McKinnie, Carey, Bibla, Romberg, Gonzalez

Defense:

That 2001 Hurricane team was better than the 2004 Dolphins.

This game isnt even close, its miami all across the boards with names like

Ed Reed, Jeremy Shockey, Jerome Mcdougle, Andre Johnson, Clinton Portis, Willis Mcgahee, Ken Dorsey

and thats just to name a few

That MIami team was as loaded as they come!!
 
This is the greatest team(01 canes) of all time and COKER couldnt seal the deal.....That ****en guy(COKER)needs to be fired and he cant recruit either.

It really sucks that in 2000 we lost that one game vs washinton or we would have been in the national championship that year, everyone forgets that team, other than one loss we were blowing out teams 52-6, 26-0, 61-14, that one loss the second game of the season really F'd us over.

If 01 miami played 05 USC the game probally wouldnt be close

the 2001 canes had some close games. even the rose bowl turned out to be somewhat close late in the game when coker sat on the ball and allowed momentum to shift towards nebraska. earlier, the BC game, the vatech game, and the FSU and pitt games all felt like they were letting it slip away. no doubt that this USC team is a much better 2nd half team than '01 miami was

Not tryin to stir up any bad blood, but what do u beelive would of happened if the 2000 Miami Hurricanes didnt get screwed in the BCS and played us (Oklahoma) in the Orange Bowl, Would of been another classic battle between the Sooners and Hurricanes, even though yall beat us more then we have :D
