we hear the same thing every year...a draft class needs 3 years to evaluate...with few exceptions they dont bite as pups they don't bite...i'm not talking about lack of opportunity i'm talking about they don't show they can play in this league it rarely changes
yes i know michael egnew made a major change but the end result is a fringe roster tight end with a 3rd round pick career pretty much...that's not getting bang for your draft buck
It is also very position-dependent. I wouldn't expect a running back to take any time to develop...a WR maybe. A DE like Jordan, I damn well expect him to be out there more. Heck, Vernon probably got more time his rookie year than Jordan is getting.
