Round 1

Louis Nix III- DT Notre Dame

I think he has a chance to fall to us a he would be a dominant DT right away

Round 2
Xavier Su'a- Filo
Could be a starter at LG immediately, also very athletic

Round 3
Billy Turner- OT North Dakota State
Love his athleticism and quickness, would be a great pickup in round 3 and could play immediately

If we have Branden Albert signed up for LT, this would be 3 of the 4 starters replaced and an upgrade at every position as well. I think Nix would be a dominant interior tackle and would really solidify the run defense. I just don't want to reach for an OT in round 1 when this draft is so deep.

Thoughts?

i want pryor if he is there when we pick. he hits like a linebacker and has above average ball skills. would be nice paired with jones.

The key is picking up at least 2 starting offensive linemen in free Agency. At the very least we need a LT and guard.

Mine is:

Round 1-Martin: Wouldn't be a reach because he is ranked by many in the top 20. If he is not there however going DT would be the next position for me I like Nix but i would hop Donald stays on the board until 19 to get him instead though.

Round 2-Dominigue Easley: Like i said after OL i would go DT and he could be a solid guy in the trenches. If I do go DT in the first my pick would be the top Guard or tackle on the Board. could be su'a filo, yankey, jackson, moses.

Round 3-James Hurst if he checks out medically if not Joel Bitonio.

So we are on the same page position wise just order and specific players vary.

I will bite and give it a go.

Rnd 1: 19th selection

CJ Mosley would be my ideal selection here. He would immediately become the leader of our defense and provide the aggressive sideline to sideline lb we have lacked since Mr. Thomas hung up his helmet. Elerbe would thrive in a more complimentary role and best of all Wheeler would be off the field.

Honorable Mention Calvin Pryor and Ha Ha Clinton Dix- If either is available and Mosley is off the board, sign me up. Tired of mediocre safety play, I want a game changer.

2nd Rnd: 50th selection

Xavier Su'a- Filo
He is a starter in this league and if I can get a starter from my 2nd pick I am thrilled.

3rd Rnd: In the 3rd I am looking for a playmaker who has fallen for one reason or another that fills an offensive need

HB Kadeem Carey, HB Carlos Hyde, WR Martavus Bryant, OT James Hurst

Pryor doesn't pair well with Jones. You'd give up a lot of big plays. They're both in-the-box safeties (assuming you're playing to their strengths).

1. Donte Moncrief

While I think Ha-Ha is the better FS prospect, Pryor is very versatile and I see no reason he and Jones could not coexist. Jimmie Wilson as a viable option is laughable and something I am terrified will come to pass.

Calvin Pryor brings troy polamalu and bob sanders type of skills. no coincidence they all are around the same measurements. players of this caliber should never be passed up for a nose tackle or offensive lineman ever. you may say he can't play free safety, but they said same thing about dashon goldson (Hickeys team added him last year).

Jimmie Wilson takes great angles, has great ball skills, and he can cover WR's. Pryor struggles in space. Obviously you've been paying attention.

He's nothing like Plamalu, but he is similar in some respects to Bob Sanders - who was an in-the-box safety.

Would love to get Turner OT in the third round. In the Senior Bowl it seems like he was always getting to someone in the LB or secondary after taking out a defensive lineman.

A "Dream" imo would be to trade down into that 26-27 range and pick up an extra 3rd. Reality(which is still good)/Dream

1. Aaron Donald DT/Ryan Shazier OLB

2. Xavier Su'a Filo OG/Deone Bucannon S

3. Bishop Sankey RB/Billy Turner OG
3a. Lache Seastrunk RB
