According to an NFL media analyst Laremy Tunsil is one of 5 2016 1st round picks to have a break out 2018.

"After handling starting duties at left guard in his rookie season, the 13th overall pick of the 2016 draft traveled a very bumpy road in his sophomore season as he moved to to his natural left tackle position. Tunsil was drafted to eventually be a tackle, but played guard in 2016 while Branden Albert manned the left tackle spot. After the team traded Albert last offseason, Tunsil was expected to make a smooth transition back outside, but things didn't go according to plan, as he allowed six sacks and committed 12 penalties in his 15 starts. Moving back outside and contending with explosive athletes in space was clearly more of a challenge for him than anyone anticipated. With an offseason to digest his struggles, I expect a much better performance from the talented tackle in his second year as the starting left tackle."

After Tannehill, he's arguably the most vital asset we have.

Expectations should be high for this kid. He has the kind of talent that should make DE's not look forward to playing against him.

He and Parker both need to play 16 games this season.

All this talk about players potentially breaking out...just freaking do it! Waiting on Philips to break out, waiting on Tunsil to break out, waiting on Parker to break out, waiting on Harris to break out. Geez.

I'm hoping for the best of course but lets see him do it out on the field. Is he willing to put in the work? I'm not holding my breath on Harris but I know he's a hard worker. I believe Tunsil has more talent but he needs to put it all together out there. If he can play like a first round pick should play then that would go a long way to making out O-line much better than it's been. Time will tell

It all starts in the offseason. If the player is dedicated and puts in the necessary work to make themselves better and report to camp in shape ready to compete, that's a start.

Gase has said that Tunsil really wants it. You can often read between the lines of what a coach says, but here that’s a tell. Let’s hope he takes a big step forward. He was highly ranked. There’s got to be talent there.

Would have been nice to have more information like has he worked with a specialist or added muscle mass, something that says he is all in on getting better.

Dallas Thomas used to give up a sack every 6 plays...

I'm connecting these quotes because Dallas Thomas was arguably the hardest working offensive lineman on the team while he was on the roster. It is one of the reasons the coaches kept giving him opportunities. It also shows that nothing replaces raw ****ing talent...which Tunsil has loads of.

Dallas Thomas was sued by the Thomas's English muffin anti defamation league...
