I guess you weren't around for the early 90's. Boy they loved putting it to us. And laughed about it. A LOT! Now they've won what, 6 in a row? We don't seem to have a counter for it either. You really wanted Buffalo hosting the Bengals in order to go to the super bowl next week? Somebody wake these fools up!!!!
Mate, I have been around since the late 80's and yes, I remember what Kelly, Thomas, Smith and clan used to do to Miami. That said, I did feel sorry for them after losing there 4th SB. However, the Jest are just pure trash. The Pats, well screw them and Brady's 6 rings. Now that was and still is a classless organisation.

I do think that game was an anomaly of sorts. Yes you need a QB but they don’t have to play like that to win a SB. That was just insane.
Maybe not in the past.... but maybe they do going forward.

Its not like Allen and Mahomes are about to retire anytime soon.

This is why it wouldn’t bother me if the 49ers won the Super Bowl. It gives the teams without a freak show QB hope. I guess the Rams to some extent also.

I was wrong on Allen too, but everybody is wrong on some prospects. It's about playing the odds. Reality is that inaccurate college prospects rarely go on to become great NFL QBs. People get excited about big guys with big arms, but most of those guys don't become Allen. The vast majority become JaMarcus Russell.
Compare the work ethics of said QBs.

JaMarcus Russell - did he work to get better one iota?

Not trying to say Allen was always going to turn into what he is now. But they evaluated his work ethic and desire to be great and projected he will improve. And did.

Stafford is another.

QBs can improve their accuracy saying otherwise is just wrong. BUT that specific QB has to put in the work (particularly when it comes to mechanics). Allen Did with Palmer and still does with Palmer every year. I am willing to bet by draft time I will be reading articles about the work Allen is putting in with Palmer again.

His true character? What’s that a competitor that wants to win?

Well, in fairness..... compare Allen's reaction to Mahommes reaction when he just beat the Bills.

Two completely different examples of class.

Also, 2 completely different displays of respect, or lack thereof, of a winner.

As I am now over Sundays loss I am going to enjoy the next Decade plus of

Brady vs Manning 2.0.

That might be the case.

If they keep producing like they did on Sunday, it will be great to watch.

Now...... we just need the Dolphins to get there lol

please .. so you condone being a punk??? now i don't know what was said to him but it's happened with multiple teams..
and yes i'd get pissed if a dolphin did it because that crap always comes back to haunt you

I agree about Allen's work ethic vs. Russell, but the fact of the matter is that the vast majority of QBs don't improve their accuracy. You can put it all on work ethic, but I don't think that's true. A guy like Tebow worked as hard as anyone, but his accuracy never improved. Reality is that it's not just about hard work. That's a huge per-requisite, but it's not the whole thing.
