2025 Free Agency

I know its asking a lot however if Miami could find trade partners to trade down twice they could be in a lot better shape afterwards. :ffic:
Yea, the Dart to Miami, isn't gonna happen. We've got desperate ppl running things, they have all eggs in the Tua bucket.

As much as i love Jameis, i have to admit the smart move is getting Zach Wilson. He's athletic as all hell and might really blossom with a 2nd chance to start.

If we made Tua play on the fifth year option we would probably be selecting Dart at 13.
Proabably or if Grier was still here, Sanders.

I see alot of Tua in Sanders, not very athletic and riding off his college reputation. But Sanders isn't as injury prone, but still, who ever takes him will be fighting an uphill battle due to his limitations athletically. (Which is wild to say, bc Dion was such an athletic freak)

I wouldn't mind signing Wilson. He probably won't cost much. He does have physical talent. He even had some decent games when he played for the Jets. Maybe he could have a renaissance for the Dolphins like Darnold had for the Vikings if he is forced into action if Tua gets injured.

Another QB I would consider as a backup is Mac Jones if the price is right.

You ever wonder if Tua woulda played in week 17 & 18, if he didn't have his 2nd contract already?

something to think about GIF by Ray William Johnson

Did you hear the rumor about JJ McCarthy from a couple weeks ago?

It's a deep rumor and I never saw it on Finheaven, but there's whispers the Dolphins would be interest in JJ, if the Vikings sign Darnold to a long term deal.

Again this is a deep rumor and I have no idea if it has legs, I saw it on Twitter from a couple ppl that have no credentials.

I think the Raiders are going to select Sanders. I just see him there and Deion as their HC in a year or two.

Yea, it sure feels like that's gonna happen.

The Wildcard is Brady, he might be too smart to fall for this trap, but it's hard to tell just how much influence he has right now or if he's even good at playing the Raiders version of Jerry Jones.

I havent heard about that rumor. With the way Darnold ended the season his last 2 games it would surprise me if they offer him a long term deal. if I was them I would try to convince Rodgers to play there as a bridge QB if JJ needs another year coming off his injury. I actually think Rodgers would do well there with the talent he would be surrounded with and coaching. Of course it would be too funny for him to follow in the exact same footsteps as Favre.

I think we are locked into Tua for at least a couple more years.

Yea, I don't see it being real even if they keep Darnold, the Vikings are gonna want a premium pick for JJ and the stooges wanna win right now.

Our best bet is Zach Wilson. I'm seeing this more clearly now as we get deeper into the offseason.

I kinda gotta agree with ya on Zach Wilson. He was considered an A-List talent just four seasons ago and is still only 25 years old. Perfect reclamation project for McDaniel and Bevell.
Sign him immediately when free agency opens and draft one of Gabriel, McCord, Brosmer, or Shough. I'm getting more and more jazzed about Brosmer. Shough could be the best pure passer in the draft but since he turns 26 in Sept it will hurt his draft stock. Greg Cosell really likes Shough though and he is an astute judge of QBs.
