Are you saying that you want the regime back even if we don't win a playoff game this year?
It depends. If I see less mismanagement and more scoring TD's and we fall short vs. a tough playoff team like say.....Pittsburgh, by a couple of points. Yes, there is something to be said for staying the course.
The other thing is that we will be drafting a QB in the upcoming draft and going all out this time I believe. Not as many teams will be looking for a QB since the ones that need one badly just got one. So I want my new and fresh QB to keep the same offense in tact, provided there was much improvement, and keep everyone on the same page instead of everyone starting all over again.
I would think that if we land a "franchise" QB, that that is what you would want for them.
Sparano was a rookie HC. All coaches learn OJT. If Sparano wasnt learning from his leasons, that would be one thing. But I dont see that. He and Ireland have made moves from the obvious problems. Some will say we did not address the QB spot. I say nothing was worth it this year sacrificing draft picks and players. Next year, we will. Timing is everything.
