49ers fans reaction to J.Martin

Perhaps, but I doubt it. Martin beat out every other offensive lineman on our squad last year and started the season at left tackle. And while his talent never impressed me and I was very vocal about it, there were plenty of people here telling me and everyone else that questioned Martin's abilities that we were wrong and that he was, in fact, good enough based on what they observed. If he can win a starting LT job on an NFL team, he certainly has the talent to at least be a decent backup anywhere else.

He 'won' the job because he had no competition. The coach went to his GM and begged for a new left tackle and the GM told him to shut up and deal with it.

Well, if the other threads didn't seal the deal this does. You people will never get over it. Too much estrogen in here. Too much bitter and angry ex-wife **** in here. Let your balls drop and get the **** over it. He wasn't a good player, and now he's off the team.

Nice.

I knew the above post would garner a "thumbs down" from spiketex ... Some of y'all have an agenda that is simply too predictable. Thanks for confirming my suspicion.

After all, anyone who would say:
J-mart didn't have a chance in Miami
Clearly is interested in making excuses for the cry-baby.

It is interesting that the people who knew J-mart from his Stanford days were eager to get him.

A conditional 7th round pick does not says eager to get him. No one else wanted him if that's the best deal we could get.
