The reporter basically asked Saban if he was encouraged with DT last night and his response was something like : he's like an elevator, He had some good moments, then he comes out. I guess it was a pulled hammy or something...

I've missed the actual quote, but even the quote doesn't tell you a lot. The reporter basically gave Saban a chance to praise DT, and Saban did not. His tone sounded like he was frustrated wiht DT coming out after an apparent injury. My hunch is that the guy is gone.

If I read your guys notes right, basically he said Donnie Jones is going to be cut. With him going with Ryan Denney out of the blue just because he was younger, it certainly made me wonder if Jones would inherit the punting job from Turk because he is younger and cheaper. But, then again maybe Saban senses we'll be punting a whoooole lot this season, putting a premium on the punter lol.

They know where they are going with QB, but the players haven't been informed. So much speculation. Gus or Sage. IMO, Gus.
